Bomb Blast Suppression Blankets

Blast Suppression Blankets are used to suppress the blast fragmentation from an explosion that can cause
damage and injuries. These blankets are particularly useful for suspect IEDs contained in packages up to
briefcase size and pipe bombs. Each blanket is used in conjunction with a (supplied) ballistic collar which is
placed on its edge around the suspected explosive device. The blanket is then placed over the collar and
suspect device. The collar directs the force of the blast upwards into the blanket which contains most of the
fragments created by the explosion. Two or more collars and blankets can be used to suppress larger size
explosive devices.
The multiple layer ballistic-filler material is enclosed in a heavy
duty nylon water resistant cover which is fitted with lifting
straps and clearly marked DANGER. Both blanket and collar
fold into a compact, easily carried holdall bag. The blankets
are available in two sizes and two Threat Levels.

Radio Controlled Trigger and Laser Pointer

There are a number of scenarios where remote trigger cable or delay functions do
not allow for satisfactory safety distance. In addition when deploying the generator
from a remote vehicle one of the important firing options is taken away by the
X-ray generator.

ELP GmbH have designed a radio controlled trigger system and integrated the
miniaturised receiver into the handle of the XR200 generator. The receiver is
powered by the generator’s internal power supply which it switches on and off
together with the generator. The transmitter and receiver are paired for additional
safety and reliability. The receiver responds only to the transmitter it is paired with.

ELP have also designed a laser pointing device for the Golden X-ray generator
XR200 to simplify special applications.

The system consists of three circular arranged laser sources with the battery power
supply integrated in a ring-housing with a form closing rear side. The housing is
pushed over the generator nozzle and holds its position without the use of tools.

EOD 10 The Next Generation of Bomb Suit

The EOD® 10 is engineered to give best-in-class balanced protection and support to bomb technicians
worldwide. The development team took a user-centric focus to invent a suit that is 17% lighter and offers
higher overall protection.
Every layer of protective material was carefully selected for optimum performance to weight ratio. An extensive
Human Factors Engineering program completely redesigned and resized the helmet, jacket and trousers to
reduce fatigue and give a better fit. This lighter, better fitting ensemble increases mobility and flexibility so
technicians can operate more freely in difficult locations for longer periods of time.

Improved user experience: The EOD 10 follows a completely new design from earlier generations. It transfers
the weight from shoulders to the waist to reduce fatigue and improve comfort, increases situational awareness,
provides upper body ventilation and adds new capabilities.
Helmet retention: The helmet is equipped with a unique inflatable bladder and multi-point retention system
for a secure and customised fit that shapes closely to each user’s head. This eliminates the need for additional
fit pads.
Flexibility: The improved ergonomic design allows superior range of motion for the arms, legs and waist, and
permits the head to move around more freely.
Lighter Weight: All protective materials were evaluated and carefully patterned to reduce as much weight as
possible. The result is outstanding and offers a lighter ensemble that reduces operator fatigue.
Emergency medical aid: A patented system enables emergency extraction by robot or manually. Several
design features have been optimised to facilitate faster access to deliver medical aid.

Communications

CT-DECT

For teams working in EOD and Counter-IED environments, reliable radio communication can be crucial.
CeoTronics has developed specialised, professional CT-DECT solutions for EOD and Counter-IED teams. All
communication are wireless and full-duplex. The send/receive headset is either built into the EOD helmet or
worn directly in the ear. Communication is short range, up to approx. 300 m.

Focus on the job at hand: The duplex communication mode means the bomb disposal technician always
has both hands free to focus on the task. The transmitting power is safe and averages a 10 mW (only in send-
burst mode may the transmitting power briefly increase to 250 mW). The transmit frequency is between 1880
MHz and 1900 MHz.

Up to 5 User Stand Alone System: This configuration
consists of enough equipment to allow up to 5 users
with the option of the 5th user having access to the
communication network.

The equipment consists of up to 5 CT-DECT Multi
radios (low power -10mW) with Duplex Digital
Wireless Communications. Users have audio via
either throat mike or Action Neck Band. The system
can be combined with Multi PTT allowing coordination
via two separate radios.

CT-DECT HAZMAT

The CT-DECT Wireless Digital Duplex Communications System is designed for
use in HAZMAT Operations. The ability for HAZMAT Technicians to have safe and
effective communications in a Hands Free environment increases the safety factor
for the operator while providing additional information and resources to the entire
HAZMAT team in order to achieve a successful mission completion.

The CT-Neckband Headset from CeoTronics
is characterised by its low-profile design
and minimal weight. Although weighing
only 22 grams, it easily supports medical
rescue operations with personnel wearing
protective coveralls.

Independent of other equipment, it offers
exceptional wearer comfort thanks to the
special adjustable wire and can be modified
to match any wearer’s facial dimensions.

Multi PPT

The Multi PPT is based on the CT-ClipCom Digital, the communications systems for soldiers and specialist
units from the German Armed Forces. This technology is continuously developed by CeoTronics engineers
and adjusted to the individual requirements of military deployment.

Satisfying the toughest “MIL” specs
The Multi PPT is a comfortable, helmet-independent communications system that is well-suited to being
worn under close-fitting headgear. Thanks to the systematic use of digital technology, all of the sophisticated
electronics for the MIL model have been integrated into a small casing made from milled aluminium.
Despite miniaturisation, the communications system
satisfies the highest military specifications for
electromagnetic compatibility and other mechanical and
climatic properties. The user controls are also certified
to the IP67 protection class, and thus both dust-tight
and securely protected against strong water jets.

The send/receive system meets requirements for the
IP54 protection class, and has been successfully tested
for both dust and splash water protection.

CT-Earpieces

During the use of send/receive systems, protecting the wearer’s hearing is just as important as the quality of
voice transmission, and with in-ear communications systems, wearer comfort is a critical factor. For decades,
CeoTronics has enjoyed an enviable reputation in the three key areas (transmission quality, hearing protection
and wearer comfort) and offers certified, soft ear adapters not just for its own send / receive systems, but also
for those from other suppliers.

Optimum wearer comfort: All individual ear adapters from CeoTronics are manufactured from soft, medical-
grade silicone with a Shore hardness of 40. The silicone offers superior durability, excellent wearer comfort
and user-friendly cleaning options. As another advantage, it also prevents uncomfortable hardening of auditory
canal cartilage, unlike ear adapters made from hard plastic materials.

Anti-bacterial nano silver coating: CeoTronics
ear adapters are coated with an ultrafine, high-
quality surface sealant, offering users of the send/
receive system protection against bacteria and
mould in the auditory canal to a level unmatched
by other coatings.

Stingray Disruptor

Stingray Fluid Blade Disruptor is an effective Render Safe Tool for EOD
technicians. The Stingray is the only water disruptor available that delivers
a cohesive fluid blade capable of easily penetrating steel and retaining the
post penetration velocities necessary for IED Disruption. Unlike traditional
explosives which release energy equally in all directions when they detonate,
the Stingray uses shaped-charge technology to deliberately manipulate the
explosive so that it creates a certain shape when it explodes, allowing the
operator to focus the energy precisely where it’s needed.

The lightweight plastic design offers superior performance as a dismounted or robot deployable EOD tool. It
is a simple plastic assembly, consisting of a minimum of parts and can be assembled in minutes. It is robust
enough to withstand the rigours of deployment without compromising performance.

Wizard Recoilless Disruptor

The power of the Wizard Recoilless Disruptor will successfully decap a pipe bomb with
a watershot only. The use of water, as opposed to a solid projectile, prevents sparking,
thereby reducing the risk of the pipe bomb high-ordering. The Wizard Disruptor is user-
friendly and easy to assemble, with no breech or tools required for setup and preparation.

20mm Recoilless MKIII Waterjet Disruptor
