The Everest Porch is constructed from a combination of Entrance Doors (uPVC and Aluminium) or Patio Doors (Aluminium only)
to provide a flexible product for most locations.

The range consists of uPVC porches of flexible size up to a maximum of 4 square metres (internal dimensions)

To calculate the correct price for a Porch, follow this pricing method:
1. Determine porch base (‘Type A’ or ‘Type B’)

How To Price For A Patio DRIVEWAYS AND PATIOS

1. Draw a scale drawing of the proposed patio.
2. Count the total number of m² as you would for driveways. Include the area to be covered by any features, circles, edges,

steps etc.
3. Multiply the number of m² by the appropriate m² price for the chosen patio stones in the main body of the patio.
4. Add in any additional charges for features, circles, edges, steps, manhole covers, lights etc.
5. Add in the site preparation charge.
6. Add in the fee for contrasting colour/different stone/block for every different type of stone or block are used, and for every

different colour.
7. If a soldier course is specified from the driveways product range, this should be included in the total m² price (charged at the

m² rate for the main body of the patio). There is no need to include the perimeter charge, but you should include a charge for
contrasting colour / different block type or size.
8. Please note there is no perimeter charge for patios unless the main body of the driveway is using driveway blocks. In this case,
the perimeter charge does apply.
9. The walling prices assume a single thickness of wall. If a double thickness of wall is required, the price should be doubled.
10. Where the patio is more than 20m from the skip/delivery area, the difficult access charge applies. This charge may also apply in
other cases where access is awkward.
11. Please note the there are two pages to the price list. The main price list is discountable and commissionable, the second page
is non-discountable and non-commissionable.
12. Decorative patio walling is included on the commissionable and discountable section of the price list.
13. For walling using any other bricks, please refer to the building services price list (which is non-discountable and non-
commissionable).

Limitations
• The aggregates are not for use on driveways as an alternative to block paving. These contracts cannot be guaranteed and will

be cancelled.
• Patio stones are not suitable for use on driveways.
• We will not install patios or paths where the only access is through the house.
• Shed bases should be specified and priced for in the same way as a patio.
• Lawn laying is only available to make good where required.

walked on. Aggregates are strictly not for use on driveways as a cheap alternative to block paving. These contracts cannot
