CEO’s Message

Since the establishment of Building Supplies & Services Co. LLC (BSS) in 1976, we have endeavoured
to set the highest standards in architectural solutions for the Omani construction industry. We take
pride in the knowledge that our products and services have contributed to many of the most iconic
structures and buildings in Oman today. We greatly value the trust that has been placed in us by our
clients over the years, and we realise that none of this would have been possible without continuous
dedication to quality and professionalism.

As our nation continued its march of development over the past four decades under the leadership of
His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, we have also had to grow to meet the changing needs of a rapidly
developing economy and industry. As part of that growth, we introduced Specialised Engineering
LLC (SE) in 2007 as the first Omani company to provide concrete post-tensioning services for the
civil construction industry, and it has been an integral part of the construction of major infrastructure
and commercial projects across the Sultanate for the past decade.

We have continuously sought to grow the in-country value of our range of products, and Mechanical
& Technical Solutions LLC (M&T) was established in 2008 for that purpose. Our Steel Door factory
was the first of its kind in Oman to locally manufacture fire-rated doors and frames certified to the
highest of international standards. We now proudly export these Omani products across the GCC
region. M&T has also served the construction industry through our Metal Works division that has
locally fabricated and installed steel and aluminium products of the highest quality to major projects
across the Sultanate.

As we continue to expand into different markets and introduce the latest products and services, we
hold on to the same commitment to excellence that has driven our success over the years and look
forward to new and exciting challenges ahead.

About Us

Building Supplies and Services Co LLC (BSS) is a leading supplier of specialised architectural products and services
with a wealth of experience across a broad range of sectors. The company has carved out a niche for itself in the supply,
installation and application of exclusive architectural products and systems that is reflected in the numerous public and private
sector projects we have participated in over the past four decades. These projects include iconic landmarks such as the Royal
Oman Police Headquarters, Muscat International Airport, the Royal Opera House, the National Museum, and the headquarter
buildings for Bank Muscat and the National Bank of Oman.

Mechanical & Technical Solutions LLC (M&T) was established in 2008 and consists of two main divisions:

M&T Steel Doors operates from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Barka Industrial Area, which includes
a dedicated painting and powder-coating plant. This division designs and produces a wide variety of steel doors,
engineered to meet the specific requirements of the client, and currently exports its products across the GCC region.

M&T Metal Works carries out engineering and fabrication of metal products to provide high quality solutions for the
construction industry. This division employs a large number of highly-qualified welders and fabricators and specialises
in large-scale architectural and industrial projects.

Specialised Engineering LLC (SE) was established in 2007 and is proud to be the first Omani company to provide
concrete post-tensioning engineering and construction services for building and bridges. The company has contributed to
the execution of major projects across the Sultanate and has continued to develop its reputation for quality and reliability.

Since 1976, Building Supplies & Services Co. LLC (BSS) has played a leading role in the supply, installation
and application of exclusive architectural products and systems across Oman. Our teams have provided technical
services and support for the building and construction industry and supplied a wide array of architectural

Within a decade, M&T Steed Doors has grown to become one of the
largest manufacturers and suppliers of steel doors and frames in the
Sultanate of Oman. Our manufacturing facility in the Barka Industrial Area
is equipped with the latest CNC machines, capable of manufacturing and
supplying a wide range of high quality, custom-made steel doors and
frames for the commercial and industrial markets. The facility also includes
a modern finishing plant for painting and power-coating to any RAL colour.

Steel doors are always a challenging component in the architectural design
of any building, as they must combine the requirements of safety and
security with functionality and aesthetics. Our dedicated team of engineers
are here to assist you in the selection and specification process and are
capable of designing and manufacturing the products to meet your specific
project requirements.

M&T Steel Doors products have been tested and certified by the
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Exova Warrington (BS) and have
achieved a fire rating of up to 240 minutes. Our steel doors have also
been tested and certified by Intertek for their acoustic rating. The M&T
Steel Doors production facility is an ISO 9001-2015 certified factory and
has received approval from the Civil Defence authorities in Oman, Qatar,
Bahrain and the UAE.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES
M&T Metal Works specialises in large-scale architectural and industrial
fabrication products and services. These include roofing systems such
as space frames, skylights, canopies and car park shades. We have also
delivered extensive projects for steel structures to support the installation of
solar power systems in the Sultanate.

Our team of experienced engineers and technicians are capable of designing
and fabricating products utilising mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and
glass systems. All these products are customised to meet the specific
requirements for a wide range of project types. This includes equipment
supports, walkways, access platforms, staircases, spiral stairs, handrails,
glass balustrades, fences, crossover bridges, barriers, gratings, bollards and
formworks.

We provide a wide range of technical services that complement our precision
metal fabrication activities. These services include plasma cutting, pipe
bending, machining, shearing and certified welding. Our fabrication facility is
equipped with modern manufacturing equipment and large work areas that
provide the flexibility required to meet the unique demands of major projects
across the Sultanate.

In addition to architectural and industrial fabrication services, M&T Metal Works
also supplies the building and construction industry with a variety of specialty
products. These include a large range of industrial doors, coiling doors, operable
partitions, HPL partitions, glass partitions and dock levellers. These products have
been a part of major projects across the Sultanate, including the international
airports at Muscat, Salalah and Duqm.

Leading contractors responsible for major hotel developments in Oman
have relied upon us for our engineering and fabrication capabilities. Luxury
hotel properties fitted with our products include the Crowne Plaza Hotel
at OCEC, Marriot Hotel at OCEC, W Hotel, Sundus Rotana, Kempinski
Hotel at Al Mouj, Mysk Hotel at Al Mouj, Saraya Bandar Jissah Hotel,

M&T Metal Works has also been a key player in numerous projects for

Specialised Engineering LLC (SE) has the technical expertise and the industry

a full range of design and installation services; from generating detailed engineering
designs, to equipment supply and construction supervision.

SE employs the latest design and simulation software, including ADAPT and RAPT,
in order to provide you with the most efficient engineering solutions for your projects.
Our team provides continuous support to project consultants throughout the design
process, including assisting our clients in acquiring approvals from local authorities.

Our dedicated team of engineers, foremen and technicians operate under ISO quality
standards, and are trained to deliver world-class health, safety, and environmental
(HSE) performance.

In addition to concrete post-tensioning, SE also works closely with consultants
and contractors to provide specialised construction services, such as structural
strengthening & retrofitting (SSR).

OUR MISSION
