Pembelajaran Berasaskan Kerja (PBK) 15.4 Pembelajaran Berasaskan Kerja (PBK) atau Work Based Learning (WBL) merupakan salah satu kaedah pelaksanaan latihan industri yang menggabungkan pengalaman pembelajaran dan bekerja dengan operasi sebenar di dalam persekitaran industri. 15.5 PBK terdiri daripada empat (4) komponen utama iaitu pembelajaran secara bersemuka – Face To Face (FTF), pembelajaran tidak bersemuka – None Face To Face (NFTF), Industry Guidance (IG) dan Penilaian. 15.6 Pengiraan kredit untuk PBK adalah berdasarkan bilangan jam pembelajaran berkesan (Effective Learning Time) (ELT) yang dianggarkan sebanyak 80% daripada waktu kerja di industri. Jam pembelajaran berkesan (ELT): a. Face To Face (FTF) – Jam pembelajaran secara bersemuka b. None Face To Face (NFTF) – Jam pembelajaran tidak bersemuka c. Industry Guidance (IG) – Jam bersama mentor / penyelia industri d. 16.0 KAEDAH PENAMAAN PROGRAM 16.1 Kriteria yang terdapat pada nama sesuatu program adalah seperti berikut: 16.1.1 Tahap kelayakan; tahap program pengajian bagi sesuatu kelayakan akademik merujuk kepada Kerangka Kelayakan Malaysia (Malaysia Qualification Framework – MQF) 16.1.2 Klasifikasi kelayakan; seperti yang dihuraikan dalam Jadual 1. 16.1.3 Bidang disiplin; bidang utama program 16.1.4 Bidang pengkhususan; pengkhususan terhadap bidang utama program. 16.2 Nama program perlu mengandungi kriteria tahap kelayakan dan klasifikasi kelayakan kecuali bagi klasifikasi kelayakan profesion. 16.3 Nama program perlu mengandungi salah satu bidang disiplin sahaja atau bidang pengkhususan sahaja atau kedua-duanya sekali bergantung kepada kandungan kurikulum program berkaitan. 16.4 Program yang mempunyai bidang pengkhususan sebanyak 25% - 30% dalam bidang teras disiplin, pengkhususannya perlu dinyatakan di dalam kurungan. 16.5 Program dwi-major yang mengandungi bidang disiplin atau pengkhususan yang berbeza dengan peratus 50% - 50% adalah tidak dibenarkan.
