Addition of money
Teacher will give each child a play coin. When the teacher says the amount of money,
children have to look for their partners to gather the amount of money mentioned by the
teacher.

顾客。分给每名幼儿一些模拟钱币。当幼儿们来买食物时,老师都会问他们

Teacher lets children role-play to buy food in the canteen. Teacher will pretend to be the
seller and the children will be the customers. Each child is given certain amount of play
money. Every time children buy food, the teacher will ask them how much change they can
get so that they can familiarise with the subtraction of money.

Addition within 50 Let children sit in a semicircle. Give each child a pencil and a piece of paper to calculate.
Teacher will put a bell in the middle of the semicircle, and prewrite the addition questions
within 50 on pieces of card. Teacher shows the addition question. The child who calculates
the fastest can press the bell and give his/ her answer. If that child answers correctly,
he/ she will win the game. If that child answers wrongly, the rest of the children can get
their chance to answer.
