race of Ironman, it finally returned to its home in Hawaii for the first
time since 2019 and what a spectacle it gave us – with separate
women’s and men’s races each given space to shine, a whole range
of cutting-edge new bikes and kit, two new champions and a new
men’s course record – we couldn’t have asked for more. Cold is
something that may seem stranger in a tri mag, however, but
we’re talking specifically about cold-water swimming. Turn to
p28, though, and read our interview with professor Mike Tipton
