THE TURTLE
One day, there lived the rabbit
and the turtle in the forest. The
rabbit was boasting about how
fast he could run. One day, the
turtle want to meet him. The
turtle was walking so slow. The
rabbit was laughing at the
turtle for being so slow, '' You
walk very slow! I was waiting for
you until im tired! ''.
Much to the rabbit’s surprise,
the turtle challenged him to
a race, '' hey Rabbit! You are
very proud of your speed.
How we make deal to have
some race at look who is
faster''. So, the rabbit and
the turtle had an argument
about who was faster.
The rabbit thought this was
a good joke and accepted
the challenge. The bear was
be the umpire of the race. As
the race began, the rabbit
as usual raced way ahead of
the turtle, just like everyone
thought.
The rabbit got to the halfway
point and looked behind. He
could not see the turtle
anywhere. He said, '' i should take
a rest''. He was so tired and
decided to stop and take a nap
before continuing the race. Even
if the turtle passed him, he would
be able to race to the finish line
ahead of him. Then, the rabbit
fell asleep.
All this time the turtle kept
walking step by step until
finished. The turtle passed
him and go finished the
race. He never quit no matter
how hot or tired he got. He
just kept going.
However, the rabbit slept
longer than he had thought.
He woke up quickly. He could
not see the turtle anywhere!
He went at full speed to the
finish line but found the
turtle want to cross the
finishing line. He running with
the full energy. But it's too
late.
The turtle already passed the
finishing line. The rabbit
realized that he'd lost the
race. The rabbit was
disappointed at losing the
race. He realized that he'd lost
the race because he had been
careless.
The moral in the story is we
must know our strengths
and weaknesses. If we are
failure, learn from that and
never give up. Keep working
until we success. Always
remember in your mind ''
one time failure not always
be failure''.
