Alderfer Lumber began in 1993 as a logging operation and expanded into a sawn mill
with dry kilns after 1996. Today Alderfer produces over 600,000 board feet of dried
lumber per year, controlling the quality from the standing tree to the finished board.
Alderfer Lumber prides itself on catering to the needs of each specific customer,
providing them with the best lumber for their project. Being a smaller company affords

Allegheny Wood Products, (AWP) was founded in Petersburg, West Virginia in
1973, and has grown to include five sawmills, including our modern mill in Marble, PA.
(Annual Sawmill Production 24 million bd ft…56,633 cubic meters) The goal of the

Appalachian Timber Products has been exporting veneer and export sawlogs to Europe
and Asia since 1999. Their sister sawmill operation Summit Forest Resources opened a
new facility in 2003 with a state of the art band sawmill, with a production rate of 30,000

Carl Rosenberry & Sons Lumber is a family-owned business, operating since 1920 and
located in the heart of the Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania. Incorporating
professional forestry management techniques, we harvest our timber within a 60-mile
radius of our mill. Our tree-length harvesting system allows us to cut our logs to length

Since 1929, four generations of the Cummings family have been producing the highest

Starting in 1986, Lauchle Lumber began specializing in the manufacture and sale of kiln-
dried, tongue and grooved flooring and paneling boards with a beveled edge. Using hand
selected pieces we have created a unique decorating look which highlights the lumbers
own natural knots, swirls, mineral streaks, bird peck, worm holes, sapwood, heartwood,
which give the paneling boards character. The finished thickness is 13/16" (1/16" heavier
than 3/4 of an inch). The paneling boards are of random widths ranging from
approximately 3 inches wide to 8 inches wide. Packaged lengths per bundle of
approximately 500 sq. ft. would consist of 3 ft. to 8 ft. lengths, plus trim of 3 in to 8 in

operating as a broker wholesaler of hardwood lumber servicing the manufacturing
