SAFE-Network Friendship and Happiness is our Concern


History: SAFE-Network was declared during the International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture, Food and Energy (SAFE2013), on May 12, 2013 at Andalas University, Padang, Indonesia. The Asia-Pacific Network for Sustainable Agriculture Food and Energy (SAFE Network) is a network of university and college educators, researchers, and activists who collaborate in analysis, synthesis, connecting, and promoting sustainable agriculture, food, and energy practices in the Asia-Pacific region Vision: Create a better life for people through impactful innovation in sustainable agriculture, food, and energy


Mission: Hosting an annual international conference on sustainable agriculture, food, and energy Promoting sustainable agriculture, food, and energy practices in the Asia-Pacific region through collaboration, analysis, synthesis, and promotion. Publishing research on Sustainable Agriculture, Food, and Energy. Ensuring the security and sustainability of agriculture, food, and energy by promoting transdisciplinary research and collaboration Connecting members from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region Building Capacity on Research, Publication and Innovation .

We have to make sure that we are the same happiness living in this planet Bigger together. We must ensure that each member grows and develops together and helps one another in achieving better goals. ACTIVITIES 1 SAFE CONFERENCES Through our ten years of in-person interactions, we have formed several alliances and created valuable projects that help the SDGs be achieved. Therefore, we are bringing back the casual networking events that occur during the celebration of 10 years of SAFE-Network. This year's SAFE International Conference (SAFE2023) will be held on May 27-30, 2023, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The goal of the conference is to provide a forum for the international research community to exchange and share experiences, new ideas, sustainability concepts, and research results on sustainable agriculture, food, energy, and related disciplines. We promote research collaboration on sustainable agriculture, foods, and energy production; establish regional networking among participants; increase awareness of the importance of living and working in a manner that enhances the economic, environmental, and social well-being of our community through research, education, regional partnerships, and community engagement


ACTIVITIES 2 CAPACITY BUILDING (Training, Workshop, Webinar, Virtual Farm Academy) Capacity-building is the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fastchanging world.


ACTIVITIES 3 SUMMER COURSE SAFE has conducted 4 summer courses, 1.Bali Summer Course 1 2. Bali Summer Course 2, 3. Philippines Summer Course and 4-Bandung Summer Course at Padjadjaran University. The participants are students from SAFENetwork member countries
