Once upon a time, there lived a rabbit and a tortoise in a jungle.


The rabbit always told the other animals that he could run fast.


One day, the rabbit met the tortoise. The tortoise was walking slowly.


The rabbit looked at the tortoise and laughed… Ha…ha… ha…you’re so slow. Look at me. I can run fast.


The tortoise was angry, but he kept smiling. He dared the rabbit to have a race.


The rabbit agreed because he taught, he could win the race. Agreed!


On the race day, all the animals gathered to see the race.


The fox gave the signal to start.


The rabbit ran very fast. He left the tortoise behind.


The tortoise was walking slowly. He never stop.


When the rabbit was halfway, he found a big tree.


He looked back and did not see the tortoise.


He stopped under the tree and started to sleep. z…z…z…z…z


z…z…z…z…z He taught he could win the race because the tortoise was walking slowly.


The tortoise reached the big tree. He saw the rabbit sleeping under the tree. z…z…z…z…z


He walked slowly leaving the rabbit behind. Never stop and never give up. z…z…z…z…z


Finally, The tortoise arrived at the finishing line. All the animals were very happy.


The rabbit woke up from his deep sleep and ran to the tortoise, but it was too late. The tortoise won the race. !!!!


The rabbit felt ashamed. He asked for forgiveness from the tortoise, and they soon became good friends.
