Seeking to deepen its connection with the art world,
Kohler launched in 2010 an art project in cooperation
with China’s famous 798 Art Zone in Beijing.
The idea was to bring working artists closer to Kohler’s
production process, encouraging them to apply their
creativity to new industrial raw materials and techniques.
More than 100 artists have taken part in the project – a
resounding success further strengthening Kohler’s
creative spirit.

Kohler’s design philosophy once again was recognized in
2009 when its integrated kitchen cabinet series won the
Trendsetting Design Brand Award by the Kitchen & Bath
Power List.
In the same year, Kohler’s Karbon kitchen faucet was
awarded the International Best Design Award by the
renowned Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
