The KPSK Art Gallery (formerly known as the FSSR Art Gallery), established in 1983, aims to be a reference centre and provide space for exhibition activities and related events. The exhibited works showcase the best creations of selected students, whether they are for final year projects (FYP) or painting assignments for specific semesters. Their progress in the creative process becomes increasingly evident over time. The process begins with studio critique sessions guided by influential instructors actively practicing in their field. Each instructor has a unique teaching method based on their experiences. The CFFDC exhibition is organised as a platform to examine the development of Figura in painting courses and subjects since the 1970s. The chronology of Figura's development in the Department of Fine Arts is seen as a contributor to the development of contemporary painting in the country. This is based on the involvement of specific painters who consistently make Figura the subject of their painting production process, starting from this point. In 1972 the Department of Art & Design separated from the Department of Architecture to become the present School of Art & Design. In 1973 the School moved to the main MIT Campus at Shah Alam and in February 1982 the School was lucky to gain its very own specially designed building. GALLERY KPSK UITM SHAH ALAM 65

In 1984, the artist Rosli Mat created a painting called 'Family Series' that gives us a unique view of family. He used figures and objects to express his ideas, making the artwork interesting. What's cool is that he only used oil paint to do this. The way he arranged things in the painting, like the colors and shapes, makes it more meaningful and organized. He added everyday things like chairs, tables, rugs, and windows, and used gentle green colors to make the painting feel warm and affectionate. By including things from his daily life and nature, he made a beautiful and meaningful piece of art. Rattan and Kayu Kembang Semangkuk 2004 The "Retired Rattan Lounge Chair" is a Malaysian piece that highlights the lasting beauty of rattan and Kembang Semangkuk wood.
