REMARKS Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FKAB) was established and officially operated at USIM on 4 January 2016. The establishment of the FKAB is in line with the aspiration of the National Higher Education Action Plan and the second USIM Primary Outreach (KRA) program which is offer recognized program not only in the country but also internationally. FKAB is committed to produce ethical professional engineers and architects based on AlQawiy and Al-Amin characters. The nature of Al-Qawiy is owned by the Prophets who have specialized skills in engineering and architecture. For example, Prophets Adam, an agricultural expert and founder of human civilization; Prophet Noah, shipbuilding; Prophet harun, a communication expert; Prophet David, iron industry expert; economic and administration; Prophet Solomon, King, architecture and administration and Prophet Isa, medicine. The nature of Al-Amin also produces professionals who possess the traits of Sidiq, Amanah, Tabligh, and Fatonah. FKAB is committed to produce characters that can help towards developing practical engineering sciences and Islamic architecture that can benefits the society, the nation and the people. Originally recognized as the Department of Electric Engineering, has undergone a transformation and now operates as the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, offering two distinct undergraduates programs. These programs include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering. Besides that, the Department of Architecture also offering undergraduates programs which is a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Our institution’s engineering program began in 2016 with specialization in electronic engineering and architecture program began in 2013 with outstanding in architecture field. Since its inception, the program has experienced remarkable growth, and we recently celebrated the graduation of our 6th cohort of of engineering students and 10th cohort of architecture students.
