02 Executive Summary We present a comprehensive project proposal for the establishment and operation of a tourist hotel on Podi Duwa Island, nestled within the Bolgoda River under the Kahpola Village Officer Domain of the Kasbewa Municipal Council. The hotel's core focus is to introduce foreign and local visitors to the authentic Sri Lankan cultural experience through the promotion of "Hela Vedakama" (Thel Oru) therapies and a wide range of exhilarating water sports activities. Our endeavor aims to capture 10% of the annual foreign tourist influx, fostering economic growth, creating numerous direct and indirect job opportunities, and fostering sustainable practices. The proposed investment of 25 million rupees is projected to yield a return within 5–6 years.
