PENGENALAN PROGRAM

Mini Techcreavery 2019 merupakan satu program yang dianjurkan bagi mengetengahkan
hasil projek akhir pelajar Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi bagi 5 buah
politeknik yang melaksanakan program Diploma Teknologi Maklumat(Teknlologi Digital)
selama 2.5 tahun yang melibatkan empat trek iaitu Pembangunan Perisian dan Aplikasi,
Sistem Rangkaian, Keselamatan Informasi dan Teknologi Permainan.
Program ini diadakan bagi memberi peluang kepada para pelajar untuk mempamer dan
mempertandingkan hasil kerja yang dihasilkan dalam semester pendek 2019.
Program ini juga merupakan satu program yang dapat membantu dalam mencapai KPI PPI
politeknik. Panel-panel penilai yang dilantik adalah terdiri daripada wakil industri yang
berpengalaman dalam bidang teknologi maklumat. Dengan adanya program ini,
diharapkan ianya dapat memberi peluang kepada para pelajar dalam memahami
bagaimana sesuatu projek dihasilkan serta dapat menunjukkan keupayaan dan kebolehan
mereka dalam merealisasikan idea, kreativiti, inovasi dan penyelesaian masalah ke arah
menghasilkan projek yang mempunyai nilai komersial dan kompetitif.
Berikut disenaraikan objektif utama program ini dilaksanakan;

a. Memberi penghargaan dan pengiktirafan kepada pelajar yang menyumbangkan idea
kreatif.

b. Mengenal pasti produk dan inovasi pelajar yang boleh diketengahkan di peringkat
yang lebih tinggi.

c. Berkongsi idea dan pandangan di antara warga politeknik dan pihak industri
mengenai teknologi terkini dalam bidang teknologi maklumat.

KATA ALUAN PENGARAH PSIS

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh & Salam
sejahtera.

Alhamdulillah syukur kehadrat Ilahi dengan limpah kurniaNya
kita diberi peluang berkumpul dalam majlis yang penuh
bermakna ini. Saya mewakili seluruh warga Politeknik Sultan Idris
Shah merakamkan ucapan selamat datang kepada semua para
peserta yang telah hadir memeriahkan program Mini
Techcreavery 2019 ini.

Dalam era teknologi yang kian pesat berkembang pada masa kini,
cetusan-cetusan idea kreatif dan inovatif di kalangan pelajar
perlu terus digilap. Bakat-bakat yang ada perlu dicungkil dan dipandu dengan sokongan
dan semangat yang berterusan.

Mini Techcreavery 2019 merupakan satu program yang dianjurkan bagi mengetengahkan
hasil projek akhir pelajar Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi bagi 5 buah
politeknik yang melaksanakan program Diploma Teknologi Maklumat(Teknlologi Digital)
selama 2.5 tahun yang melibatkan empat trek iaitu Pembangunan Perisian dan Aplikasi,
Sistem Rangkaian, Keselamatan Informasi dan Teknologi Permainan.

Alhamdulillah, hasil daripada komitmen padu dan kerjasama yang baik daripada
politeknik-politeknik ini, 20 kumpulan projek akhir pelajar yang terpilih dipertandingkan
dari kesemua 5 politeknik yang menyertai program ini. Penganjuran program ini ialah
sebagai satu platform kepada para pelajar untuk mempamer dan mempertandingkan hasil
kerja yang dihasilkan dalam semester pendek 2019.

Antara objektif utama penganjuran Mini Techcreavery 2019 ini ada bagi memberi
penghargaan dan pengiktirafan kepada pelajar yang menyumbangkan idea kreatif dan
inovatif. Selain dari itu program ini juga sebagai satu laluan bagi mengetengahkan inovasi
pelajar di peringkat yang lebih tinggi. Jalinan koloborasi di antara warga politeknik dan
pihak industri dengan perkongsian idea dan pandangan mengenai teknologi terkini dalam
bidang teknologi maklumat.

Sekalung syabas dan tahniah saya ucapkan bagi semua para pendidik, para pelajar dan
jawatankuasa penganjur yang terlibat secara langsung dan tidak langsung dalam program
Mini Techcreavery 2019 ini. Harapan saya, agar program seperti ini dapat diteruskan lagi
an datang bagi sama-sama kita memacu kecemerlangan Politeknik Malaysia di mata dunia.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh & Salam
sejahtera.

Alhamdulillah, segala puji bagi Allah. Saya merafakkan rasa
syukur yang tidak terhingga kehadrat Allah SWT kerana dengan
limpah kurniaNya kita diberi peluang dan ruang masa bagi kita
berkumpul sama-sama dalam program Mini Techcreavery
2019 ini.

Syabas dan tahniah saya ucapkan atas usaha gigih bukan hanya
daripada para pelajar malah daripada para penyelia projek
yang menjadi sumber motivasi dan semangat yang berterusan.
Segala kerjasama dan jalinan kerjasama baik dari politeknik-politeknik dan pihak industri
juga amat saya hargai kerana sokongan padu kalianlah menjadi asas kejayaan kita hari
ini.Sekalung penghargaan bagi seluruh Jawatankuasa Penganjur Mini Techcreavery 2019

Program Mini Techcreavery 2019 ini merupakan program yang julungkali dianjurkan. Ini
merupakan suatu peluang yang dicetuskan bagi kita sama-sama mengetengahkan hasil
projek akhir pelajar Semester Pendek 2019. Dengan penganjuran ini kita telah memberi
ruang dan peluang bagi segala usaha jerit perih dalam menyiapkan projek akhir pelajar di
dalam semester pendek tidak di ketepikan. Matlamat program ini bagi menjulang hasil
kerja kreatif dan inovasi yang dihasilkan di mata industri.

Akhir kata, saya ingin merakamkan sekali lagi penghargaan kepada semua yang terlibat
secara langsung atau tidak langsung dalam menjayakan program Mini Techcreavery 2019

PENGENALAN MDEC

Perbadanan Ekonomi Digital Malaysia (MDEC), yang sebelum ini dikenali sebagai
Perbadanan Pembangunan Multimedia (MDeC), telah diperbadankan pada tahun 1996
untuk memberi nasihat strategik kepada kerajaan Malaysia mengenai undang-undang,
dasar dan piawaian untuk operasi ICT dan multimedia serta memantau pembangunan
Multimedia Malaysia Super Koridor (sekarang MSC Malaysia), platform untuk memupuk
pertumbuhan Perusahaan Kecil dan Sederhana Malaysia (IKS) dalam industri IT sambil
menarik penyertaan daripada syarikat ICT global untuk melabur dan membangunkan
penyelesaian digital dan kreatif yang canggih di Malaysia.
Pada tahun 2011, mandat MDEC diperluaskan oleh Perdana Menteri untuk memasukkan
peralihan Malaysia ke arah ekonomi digital maju menjelang 2020 melalui Digital Malaysia.
Pada tahun 2012, Digital Malaysia secara rasminya diumumkan sebagai program
transformasi negara untuk mencapai matlamat ini. Digital Malaysia adalah agenda
nasional ke arah ekonomi digital lestari yang dibina atas industri ICT domestik yang
meriah, penggunaan transformasi penyelesaian digital oleh kerajaan, perniagaan dan
rakyat, serta ekosistem yang memberangsangkan yang teguh.
Hari ini, kedua-dua MSC Malaysia dan Digital Malaysia berjalan serentak untuk
merangsang pembangunan industri ICT dan transformasi digital Malaysia, di bawah bidang
kuasa MDEC.

ABSTRACT

Don’t Freak Out is a 3D horror game. User will play as a first person in the game. User’s
vehicle is having a breakdown and don’t have tools to fix it, while user are in an abandoned
village where the local ghost “POCONG” will evolves, user have to face their fear finding
the tools in order to get out from the village. This horror game is based on Slender Man
such as the player's objective is to collect all eight pages located in various areas of the
forest while avoiding the Slender Man. As of this version, the game was officially Don’t
Freak Out and the player’s objective is to collect all tools located in various areas of the
village while avoiding the ghost (pocong). Then, fix the car and escape from the
Abandoned Village.

ABSTRACT

Aroi is a video game developed for the windows platform. The game entitle Aroi where as
it refers to the main character in this game. This game is conceptualized as escape game
that requires player to help Aroi through the labyrinth that has been provided by his
grandfather and need to complete several missions before he manages to obtain the
treasure that his grandfather has prepared for him. As we know, the Labyrinth is a
complicated and misleading structure designed using the same concept of a maze.
Therefore, player need to help Aroi to completed 3 levels as well as solving Malay proverbs
for each level based on the time given to get the treasures. Otherwise, it will be game
over.

ABSTRACT

Keycies are named based on the combination of keys and pieces. Keycies is being named
because in this game user or player have to find a pieces of key to escape from the castle.
There are three pieces of keys that being scattered around the castle. While searching for
the pieces of keys, player have to go through all the obstacles. Keycies is being
implemented in Augmented Reality Game (AR) created for Android Platform. AR is the
integration of digital information with the user’s environment in real time. AR apps are
written in special 3D programs that allow user to experience an AR object in the real world
based on the digital information in mobile application.

ABSTRACT

Seasonal Run is an adventure game that focuses on the people who loves adventure.
Seasonal Run is a game that player need to construct the strategies to complete all the
levels. There are 4 levels available in this game Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. Each
level has different season and also different obstacles. The player needs to finish all the
level in order to get out from the map. This game also mainly about how you beat your
own score/best time to escape from the map. Besides, this game has applied educational
values, where at the end of each level the player will get the information for each season
in the level. The information will pop up on the ending panel and the player can click on
the picture to see the information that have been prepared.

ABSTRACT

Negara kita berada di landasan untuk menjadi negara yang maju dalam beberapa tahun
lagi, masalah segelintir syarikat tidak mengimplikasikan lagi sistem pemantauan “server”
seperti syarikat Kedah Industrial Skills and Management Development Centre(KISMEC)
untuk memantau setiap “server” sekiranya berlaku masalah yang tidak diingini.Syarikat
KISMEC seharusnya memiliki sistem pemantauan “server” kerana terlalu banyak
perkakasan atau "server" untuk dipantau secara fizikal satu persatu dan syarikat tidak
dapat memantau "server" dalam masa 24 jam sehari.Selain itu, pentadbir sukar untuk
memantau "server" sekiranya pasukan penyelenggaraan di luar kawasan syarikat.Dengan
adanya sistem pemantauan “server” ini, syarikat dapat mengurangkan masa pentadbir
untuk memantau "server.Selain itu, pentadbir dapat memantau "server" walaupun
berada di luar kawasan syarikat KISMEC.Seterusnya, pentadbir dapat mengenal pasti
sebarang masalah di dalam sistem "server" dan dapat mengetahui semua keadaan
"server".Oleh itu,masalah ini dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan sistem
pemantauan “server” “Nagios Core”.”Nagios Core” merupakan sistem pengoperasian
terbuka dimana boleh membuat menambahan ciri-ciri yang lain.Oleh itu,
penambahbaikkan sistem pemantauan “server” “Nagios Core” akan dilaksanakan untuk
menyelesaikan masalah-masalah yang berlaku di syarikat KISMEC.Sistem pemantauan
“server” “Nagios Core” dapat memantau perkhidmatan (HTTP,SSH,PING dan "Current
User").Selain itu, pemeriksaan dapat dilakukan terhadap antara muka rangkaian dan
“adapter”..Perkara-perkara ini akan dipantau oleh pentadbir sistem rangkaian atau
juruteknik penyelenggaraan “server” di dalam syarikat KISMEC.

ABSTRACT

As our nation is on the track to be a developed country in couple of years, littering issues
still a major problem in our country. Litter consists of waste product that have been
disposed improperly without consent at an undesirable location. The littering habit among
younger generation especially from the school students are common. There are littering
issue among school students of SK Bandar Baru Perda and overflowing of rubbish from the
existing bins. Hence, this littering behaviour among school students and overflow of trash
make the school environment uncomfortable to retain knowledge. Moreover, the old
dustbin needs to be checked manually by the school management regularly which
consume time. To solve with the problem that exist in SK Bandar Baru Perda, a future bin
that is incorporated with smart features was developed using Arduino technology. An IOT
based system used manage and indicate the trash level to the school management
(counsellor). The targeted audience of this project are school students and school
management (counsellor). This project uses an Arduino Uno Board and NodeMCU that
acts the main controller that control other electronic components such as servo, ultrasonic
sensor and LCD display that are attached to the Future Bin. The servo is used to lift up the
cover of the Future Bin when the ultrasonic sensor detects a person within one feet. When
a person approach near to the Future Bin the LCD displays a greeting message and a thank
you after the rubbish is thrown into the bin. Another ultrasonic sensor detects the level of
the rubbish level in bin. If the bin is full, then an alert message is sent to the mobile
application through NodeMCU.

ABSTRACT

One project was implemented Color Blindness Detection using Arduino UNO and 1Sheeld.
This project aims to help individuals who are color blind to identify a particular color. This
is a project to help the individual in detecting the colors of the object. Color Blindness
Detection is a system tool that can be used to help with daily life. This is because it is
connected from Arduino UNO and 1Sheeld via Bluetooth to smart phone device. Camera
use is very important in carrying out this project. It is intended to connect the kit to the
application that is in the smart phone. From the application, there are 4 setup that need
to be used. First, Color Detection. It is set to 6 bit and medium. Secondly, the Push Button,
it is used to be pressed on the red button at the center after it is displayed to a particular
color. Third, Text-To-Speech will inform the color name when the second access shield is
pressed Push Button. The fourth is the Terminal. It is used to list certain RGB color values
more clearly and accurately so as not to overlap. The advantages of using this system

ABSTRACT

The application that we create is tires pressure monitoring system called TPMS 2.0. User
need register and login by username and password. The purpose of this application is to
help user more attention to their vehicle’s tires and their safety. The application can detect
the tires pressure and temperature of the tires. When the air pressure is not enough, it
will alert user by notification and navigate user to the nearby petrol station to fill their
tires. We also added the emergency call function in the application so the user can call the
number that been set by user before.

ABSTRACT

The application is a final project scoring application. Assessor must login the application
before grade the project. It is for the security system. The purpose of our create the
application is want to help the assessor during the accessing process by automatically
calculating the marks. It will help Unit Project in collecting marks from the mark of student
in final project by storing it in the database. Assessor can view the marks of the student in
ranking list. Finally, Unit project can check the result of the student in the final project.

ABSTRACT

Autism Alif Ba Ta is an Android application was developed specifically for Autism kids five
years and older. This application helps the kids to learning and write an Arabic words ‫(ا‬Alif)
until ‫ي‬.(Ya). From the interview, most of the kids do easily get bored writing on a blank
paper which are not attractive. Therefore, we develop an application so they can write
without feeling bored and unattractive. These application consist writing Arabic words,
reading and answering quizzes so kids can gain their knowledge. There is also guide to
write Arabic words as a method to sharpen the kid’s skill on writing.

ABSTRACT

Pyramid Escape is a Virtual Reality first person view game which requires user to complete
the objective which is to retrieve the crystal safely and solving the riddles while walking in
a tricky Pyramid to escape. The main purpose of this VR game is to provide a new level of
interaction between user and game, to create game that can test user’s critical thinking
and to develop a game virtual Pyramid environment for immersing user experience. This
project has been developed using Unity3D software and has been targeted for Android
devices. With this project, user can interact more freely with the game by walking around
in the virtual game environment and by choosing their own path to escape. Users also can
enjoy an adrenaline boost, immersing themselves in a virtual Pyramid environment while
test their critical thinking throughout the riddles given. To sum everything, this virtual
reality game arguably the next footstep towards a modern era of development.

ABSTRACT

Smart DK (Dewan Kuliah) automation system is about facility that refers to DK devices that
can be programmed to function automatically. We designed this system with Voice
Command Light Bulb, Ultrasonic sensor with RFID Access Door. Voice command is used in
this project to control the on and off of the light. Sensor is used to protect the assets and
access door can open two doors at the same time. Basically, controlling the switch need
physical movement that will be a burden for disabled and aged people. The purpose of
this project is to enable users to save time and energy since they do not have to move
from one place to another to switch on the light and provide easy access to DK. The system
is designed for all age group of users. This system is usable at any buildings with DK. In this
project we are using Google Voice Command as a voice capture device, NodeMCU,
Arduino UNO, 4 Channel Relay Module, bulb and extension cable for power supply.

ABSTRACT

The title for this project is Cloud Stock System is a stock management for managing the
records of supplies in the store over cloud services. The idea and inspiration for developing
this project is from our past experiences when doing part-time job where the company is
still using the traditional system for managing their stock records. This traditional system
is very unconventional in this brand new world where the technology is evolved rapidly
and its widespread usage. The traditional system also use a lot of papers, so it will affect
our environment where lots of tree will be cut down to make papers and the traditional
system is not safe in case of something happen to the store such as natural disaster or fire.
Our main objective is to develop an application with an interface for managing the stock’s
records for stock in and stock out by scanning the product’s barcode. Since there are lots
of products that have their own barcode provide from the supplier, this will be easier for
the staff to make the records just with scanning the product’s barcode. On the same, the
application is able to store the database in cloud service provider. So, there are no need
to keep the records on a piece of paper. Next, this application is able to show the
remaining the stock available in the store. This feature will be easier the manager and the
staff task to manage the store and to place order with the supplier. Based on the research
conducted, there are three major problem statements we encountered. First of all, the
manager will lost track in amount of the stock while counting it. This is because, it’s hard
to remember the amount of the stock remains in store because the record available is not
so complete. Secondly, it will take a long time and effort to counting the stock when the
manager were going to restock from the supplier. This will lead to some mistake make by
the staff in stock calculation because he or she need to calculate the stock as fast as
possible and there will be an error where some unobserved stock and will cause excess
stock in their store. Thirdly, the company is still using the traditional ways for making
records of the stock in their store. This traditional ways were not so efficient in this
modernized era where the technology is spreading wide because they may lost their
records if something bad is happened such as natural disaster or fires.

This ASU system that we develop, it according to the needs and requirements of
restaurants manager. This system has 8 pages along with several buttons. The main page
of our system is log in page. Next, we have pages for waiter, kitchen and cashier
department. In this system also we develop automatic calculation for customer paid the
order. In this report, we explain about our system from introduction until the conclusion.
Besides that, there are also some other items that contained in this report are objectives,
scope of the project, requirement specifications, final design, as well as advantages and

ABSTRACT

Along with the development of today's technology, learning methods are also changing.
The use of today's technologies such as Virtual Reality is widely used in teaching and
learning. EZ Arabic mobile app acts as an interactive tool to support Arabic learning in
primary schools. This application allows students to walkthrough the spaces available
within school and home environments. Students will interact with 3D objects through eye
gaze view. They can see the words and hear the pronunciation of the objects in Arabic and
Malay. Students can learn the object names in more realistic and interactive way rather
than the pictures shown in textbooks. EZ Arabic app has been developed using the Unity
3D software, Google Sketchup and Adobe Audition. It is hope that this application will help
students improve the Arabic language vocabulary and further help students learn Arabic
better.

ABSTRACT

The project Happy Kuka is a dustbin linked by wireless medium to convey message to the
admin. Its rewards candy to user when they throw plastic bottle into it. This smart dustbin
is using NodeMCU-ESP8266 WiFi Module as a controller connected wireless and
communicate through cloud using Blynk application to notify user when the bottle is full.
The main objective of the project is to educate the children in the early age due to the lack
of awareness among school children in maintaining the environment condition. This
project is focused on children from primary schools. Besides, Happy Kuka only accept
plastic bottle in certain size that users often use. Through this, we can overcome some
dominant issue such as plastic pollution in Malaysia. For this project, we recommend to
apply sound system for future use.

ABSTRACT

The main objective to develop this project is about to create home automation system
using an Arduino board with Bluetooth being remotely controlled by smartphone. This
project can automatically control a home appliances using smartphone. User need to
connect their Bluetooth phone to the Bluetooth module. To connect smartphone to the
Bluetooth module we develop the application using MIT app inventor. User only need to
install the application in the smartphone. We made this project because of the according
to fast-moving era. Presently, conventional wall switches located in different parts make
it difficult for the user to go near them to operate. Even more to it’s become more difficult
for the elderly or disable person to do so. Remote controlled system provides the solution
using smartphone. This system is designed to fulfil the needs of elderly or disable in the
house. Besides that, this project also has relay module to turn on turn off the home
appliances.

ABSTRACT

Most of the cloud service provider are provide limited storage for cloud users in cloud
services. Furthermore, cloud user not able to save all their important information and data
in third-party cloud storage services. Besides, cloud service providers are provide lowest
storage of cloud service to users. Therefore, user need to pay per-month or per-year for
upgrade their size of storage in cloud service. Moreover, usually the private information
and data we store in cloud service are not secure because anyone can access or exploit
the system. Sultan Idris Shah Polytechnic (PSIS) formerly known as Polytechnic Sabak
Bernam began operations on May 16, 2003. Nowadays, most of Polytechnics in Malaysia
is moving towards Revolution Industry 4.0. To achieve this goal, Polytechnic Sultan Idris
Shah also compete with other Polytechnic in Malaysia. By using this project, which is My
Own Cloud Storage, PSIS can be more advance in usage of cloud service among other
Polytechnic in Malaysia. Therefore, PSIS able to achieve the edge of technology in
Revolution Industry 4.0. The objective of this project are user able to fix the users own
storage amount. Next, reduce the cost by using our own cloud service. User can ensure
the privacy data or information is secure in private cloud. In order to increase the size of
cloud storage user are able to add their own external storage device to RespberryPi.
Moreover, as an admin able to update the version of cloud service by own. As a result,
user able use more cloud storage in own cloud service and can ensure the protection is
more secure by updating the cloud service. Authorized user are able to open the cloud
service through internet browser with domain address. Also can access via NextCloud App.
Putting in a nutshell, by using this cloud storage device, Polytechnic Sultan Idris Shah staff,
students and lectures will find it easy to store their information and data in cloud with
own storage without paying and also keeps their stored information and data with more
privacy and secure. Furthermore, moving forward to industry 4.0, PSIS staff, students and
lectures able to store their information and data in own cloud storage efficiently.
