In this modern age, we thought about the


modernization of the world, and in the world of a global



pandemic due to the COVID-19 virus, people work from


home, learn from home, play games, stream their games,


basically spend most of their time at home strolling


through the internet. But it wouldn't hurt to do it


with aesthetic. So we decided to apply our designs from


the previous assignment on to peripheral devices such as


a mouse & mousepad, headphones, speakers, you name it.



From there we picked the best brands to take from


which would be the best option for working, learning


and gaming.

What is it all about?






Abstractly, the music is a violin-based masterpiece


that tells us a lot about christmas. Theres a


mixture of feelings since it was presented in

slowtones, sharp pitch and high tones at the same


time. It has an intense feeling but soothing and


calming as well. When we hear this music, we could


get the feeling of rising up to it's peak which


basically an enthusiastic music.

Our thought, this is such a spectacular music because whenever we


listen to it, it gives us goosebumps. The combination of high and

low pitch is a significant idea to attract us to listen more on the

music. We feel so exciting and sensational on the part when the


music started to rise up high to it's peak. Plus, the mixture of

intense and soothing has created an epic cinematic experience yet


inspiring as well. If you close your eyes, you can touch, smell and

actually taste the music. How? We believe the concept of soothing


and intense do make the listener feel like that particular time hits

different. This music is obviously different with any other music

that we have listen to. It also has the elements of calmness and


relaxing which is a good music to choose as your study partner.

Artist's Statement

















Overall we would say these designs would be a perfect set


following the modern colour scheme of being monochromatic.

It's simple, elegant, relaxing, and fitting with the taste of

young blood. The song "Carol of the Bells" by Lindsey Stirling


plays a major role in making these designs possible with its

upbeat and seasonal vibe. The emotions it portrays in the song

are expressed very similarly to what we put here in our


designs. The use of wavy lines can represent the sense of

elegance, the geometrical shapes gives a firm taste of calm and

relaxation. Picking the right gadget is also an important part


to match it with the right piece of artwork, as the shape of

these peripheral devices will also manipulate how it will change


the design. In addition to that, we think collaborating with

META is a perfect way to incorporate art into modern

utilities.

Elements Of



Design









Based on our design we have included some of the


elements of design.



As for example , we have wavy lines to potray the


song that we chose ,Carol of the bells.



We also included shapes. As you can see , our design


had many circles, squares and triangles.



The value and tone were used on the shapes and


lines, where as the tone will get darker and



sometimes lighter and it shows the value those


lines and shapes.



The texture of design sometimes are rough and


soft to potray the songs intensity and soft tone



in the song.


The colours are only black and white that were



used in our design.

Principle Of



Design
















Not to forget, the principle of design.



Economy. We can see where we keep our design


simple and only include essential elements



Contrast. We can see where we only use black


and white for the design



Unity. This can be seen where we create our


design among all the products to fit with each



other.


Harmony. This is because we use the same song



for our inspiration so it creates satisfying


visual effects.
