Club News
Dear Members,
As summer is winding down and kids are back in school, I would like to take a moment to thank you as Members, your
families, and our Staff for a terrific summer season at CCMO! As we continue to grow in Membership, the Staff, our
volunteer Committees, and the Board have responded with increased opportunities for fun and exciting ways to enjoy
your Membership. It was wonderful to see so many of our Members throughout the summer months and we look forward
to an exciting fall in Columbia!
As we look towards the fall, your Club is continuing to focus on investing wisely in budgeted capital improvements, as
well as, reviewing and determining opportunities for prudent growth in the future. Recently you received an email from
our CFO, Lisa Tye, regarding our 2017 budgeted capital improvements. I encourage you to follow the link in her email to
our "Members Only" section of our website to learn more about the diligent progress that is being made in completing
our budgeted projects for the year.
In addition, your Club has established a sub-committee related to the
proposed sand bunker renovation project. They are working to provide
the Board with the necessary information to determine the proper
course of action with regards to financing and Member approval.
Potential renovations to the Pool Snack Bar are being analyzed currently
and a review of our Tennis program is being conducted to assess how we
can best build upon our strengths and proactively address areas of
enhancement.
Finally, thanks to the work of the Club's Long Range Planning
Committee and Staff, the Club will be placing an increased focus on
strategic planning for our future as we engage very soon in a detailed
Membership survey process that will include vision and strategy
components. More information will be forthcoming in the near future
regarding the survey and the status of our other potential initiatives.
This is an exciting time for CCMO and we thank you for your valued
Membership!
Cheers and see you at the Club, Thank you to Dr. Francis Otradovec
