Club News

Fellow Members,
As the summer is upon us, the Club's Department Heads and Staff have been hard at work preparing for another busy
season. The bunker renovation on #9 is progressing nicely and should be ready for play very soon. Adult tennis clinics
and events are up and running, as well as our popular ROGY/Junior Tennis program. In the not too distant future you
will begin seeing new artwork and subtle design changes as you enter the Club and make your way into the bar and
dining facilities. The vision the Board has reviewed will highlight the unique character of our Club while paying homage
to our distinct architecture. Finally, our Pool and Snack Bar are preparing to open with a growing set of events planned
for children and adults throughout the season. The Gators Swim Team will be back at it with practices and meets and
there hopefully will be enough Member interest to host scuba diving classes on our own property!

As the Club prepares for each season, so do the Department Heads and the Board review the list of ongoing and new

capital improvements. For example, we thank you for your patience as the parking lot was recently resurfaced. The

Board, just in its most recent monthly meeting, reviewed the budgeted capital improvements list for 2017-2018. Many

of these items, such as tuckpointing outdoor brick and fireplaces, a new HVAC unit, new walk-in cooler/freezer,

greens groomers, and a new pool vacuum are not items you may see on a daily basis, but are vital to the overall health of

the Club's infrastructure. In addition, the Board began reviewing the growing list of potential projects for

consideration...Snack Bar renovation/bar addition, sand trap renovation, locker room remodels, indoor tennis solution,

and additional HVAC unit replacements...just to name a few. As we move forward, the volunteer Committees, the

Department Heads, and the Board will work together to engage with the Membership in an effort to educate on the
