49 Vaccination Drive Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs Organized vaccination drive for the fresher students on 10th January 2021. First year students of all programmes were benefited with the event. National Youth Day and Makara Sankranthi Organized jointly with BGS College of Education “National Youth Day and Makara Sankranthi" on 12th January 2022 at Yuvalaya. The programme was Inaugurated by traditional lamp lightning followed by Inaugural address and Song, speech & dance. The event was witnessed by the Ashirvachana of Swami Veereshananda Sarswathi, & Swami Dheeranandaji Maharaj of Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, Tumakuru, through online mode. All constituent colleges Staff/ students have participated actively NSS unit conducted a e-pledge awareness campaign as a part of the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" of Government of India, Norcotics Control Bureau, Bangaluru is undertaking various campaigns to create awareness about the ill effects of drug consumption. With a view to achieve the aforesaid goal, an e-pledge titled "Say yes to life, No to Drugs" has been up-loaded. The objective of this pledge is to spread the messages of ill effect of drugs. Students were actively participated in this campaign.


50 Academic Success Tribute and Awareness Drive Indian Army Day Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy achieved 98% of success result in VIII semester B Pharmacy recently published by RGUHS, Bangalore. • A tribute in the form of leaflet about the great freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose was circulate on his birth anniversary on 23rd January 2022. • An awareness drive was conducted among the young voters regarding the voting rights on National voters’ day on 25th January 2022. Celebrated Indian Army Day in the commemoration of late General Sri K M Cariappa as a tribute to Indian Army, on 21st January 2021 at Yuvalaya. Sri. Hemaraja, retired BSF soldier graced the event as a chief guest and shared his experience on safeguarding the country and having contributed to the service for nearly 25 years. Dr. B Ramesh, Principal, SACCP expressed his view and encouraged young minds though his inspiring words on this very auspicious moment. Students exhibited their talents giving speech, dance and song performances. Staff and Students of I Year B pharm and Pharm D witnessed the event. • Safer internet day was been celebrated by circulating the digital leaflet in social medias on 8th February 2022.


51 World Cancer Day- 2022 Lab Visit Department of Pharmacy Practice, had organized a webinar in World Cancer Day 2022 on 4th February 2022 at Yuvalaya. The Resource Person was Dr. Priyank Tripathi, Clinical pharmacologist and manager, Department of clinical pharmacology, HCG Speciality Centre, Bengaluru. Apart from the students been joined the meeting via online link, the session was lively broadcasted at Yuvalaya for students as well. The session highlighted on the theme "close the care gap" focussing on accessibility of cancer care for everyone. The session was attended by nearly 170 students. Research scholars and post graduate 15 faculty visited Adichunchanagiri Institute of Molecular Medicine, B G Nagar, along with teaching faculty members on 14th February 2022 to explore the research facilities and expertise of the AIMM research group to familiarize students about research related activities carried out in the prestigious AIMM campus and with the intention to collaborate with AIMM for transdisciplinary research in near future. Students were enthusiastic in knowing prospects of cell line and molecular study at AIMM. Nearly 50 RSs, PGs and teaching faculties attended the visit. Dr Shobith Rangappa, Director, AIMM was facilitate the students visit and was complemented by the expertise of Dr. Sudhanva, Dr. Thammanna Gowda and Mr. Anil. There is more value in seeing and knowing than in reading and learning. Students got real feel of research work after this visit, as they got a chance to transform theoretical knowledge to practical implications.


52 Research scholars and post graduate students from various departments of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy visited ACU-CRI (Centre for Research and Innovation) B G Nagara, along with teaching faculty members on 15th February 2022 to explore and familiarize the research facilities to carry out their research work effectively. Nearly 35 RSs, PGs and teaching faculties attended. Dr Prashanta Kalapa and his team explored Virology Lab, Polymer chemistry lab and demonstrated equipment’s like 3-D printing, Lyophiliser, X-ray diffraction etc. Students Field Visit Startup Idea Diploma in Pharmacy first year students conducted Validation Program a field visited ACU - Garbage Treatment Plant, Sewage Treatment, Bio- medical Waste Treatment Plant. B G Nagara, along with Class teacher on 15th February 2022 to explore and familiarize a field visit facility to carry out their research work effectively. Nearly 57 students attended the filed visits program and it helped the students to clear the apprehensions about their career to an extent. Under the guidelines of Mr. Arunkumar and Mr. Kirankumar, his team Explained in detailed and demonstrated equipment’s- Garbage Treatment Plant, Sewage Treatment, Bio-medical Waste Treatment Plant etc. ACU Incubation cell, "Adichunchanagiri Centre for Entrepreneurs (ACE)" is launched its debut Startup Idea Validation Program by SACCP budding Entrepreneurs on 18th February 2022 at SACCP. The B Pharm students (III sem) and Pharm D students were participated in this event.


53 Fresher’s Party Fresher’s Party was organised on 25th February 2022 for the Students of First Year (batch:2021- 2022)-D Pharm/B. Pharm/Pharm D and M. Pharm by 5th Pharm. D students and complemented by students of other courses as well. The program "ESPERANZA FIESTA 2022" began with lamp lightening and inaugural speech by beloved Principal, HOD's and Principal of BGS model public school, Mrs. Kusuma. Freshers along with their seniors got a chance to showcase their talent by a stunning Ramp walk, various Dance performances like solo, Duo, Group dances followed by small games to make the function trickier and fun! Based on the results of ramp walk and questionnaire to short listed participants, Mr and Ms SACCP were announced. Nearly 500 students, teaching and non-teaching staff attended the event.


54 Professional Advancement Program Mega Health Camp - I ACU Incubation cell and Adichunchanagiri Centre for Entrepreneurs (ACE)is launched its debut Startup Idea Validation Program by SACCP budding Entrepreneurs on 18th February 2022 at SACCP. The B Pharm students (III sem) and Pharm D students were participated in this event. A team of 21 comprising of Pharm. D Students, M. Pharm Students and the Ph. D Scholars from Department of Pharmacy practices attended the Mega Health Camp organized by Adichunchanagiri Hospital & Research Centre on 5th March 2022 at K. R Pete. The various departments of AH&RC and various institutions under Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust were unified for the successful conduct of Mega camp wherein nearly 12000 people attended the same. The students from SACCP were actively involved in dispensing and patient counselling.


55 Skill Development Workshop Ph.D Induction Program Institutional Placement cell, organized 2 days Skill Development Workshop in association with Arivu Skill Development Academy on 4th and 5th March 2022 at Yuvlaya. Facilitator was Mr. H V Vishvesh, Director, Arivu Skill Development Academy, trained the final year Pharm D and M Pharm students on various topics. On Day-1, In his presentation he covered the following topics Basics of Business Communication, Presentation Skills & Writing Skills, Assertiveness (Communication style), On Day-2 he trained the students with activities like Introduction to Career Guidance, RESUME Writing, Preparing for Group Discussion, MOCK Group Discussions, Preparing for Personal Interviews, MOCK Personal Interview etc. Around 64 students actively participated and benefited from the workshop. Organized ACU-Ph.D. induction program for 2021- 22 to registered Research Scholars on 8th March 2022. Dr. B Ramesh, Dean Health Science Pharmacy delivered the welcome address during which he briefly explained the objectives of the induction program and introduced the dignitaries to the gallery. Dr. K Byrappa, Pro-VC & Dean Research, AÇU in his opening remarks summarized the importance of research in modern era of academics. Dr. C K Subbaraya, Registrar ACU addressed the gathering with his valuable and motivational words. Dr. M A Shekar, Hon'ble VC, ACU shared his experiences and enlighten the scholar’s knowledge with his valuable thoughts followed by inauguration of the program. Dr. K Byrappa in his presentation highlighted the importance of research in career building. Dr I R N Goudar, Joint head ICAST, CSIR-NAIL, Bangalore delivered a talk on Literature Search and E -Resources and Selecting a Journal for Publication. Dr B S Shivaram, former Scientist 'G' ICAST, CSIR-NAIL, Bangalore demonstrated the application of Mendeley software for reference management. Around 50 Research scholars of ACU and 80 post graduates & staffs from all the constituent colleges/ units of ACU were actively participated. All Deans of ACU & Principals of constituent units participated in the event.


56 International Women’s Day Women Empowerment Cell, SACCP celebrated International Women’s Day on 10th March 2022. Various contests were organized such as Cook off Challenge, Best Out of Waste Swanky Elegant women Poster Competition, Slogan writing Competition etc. nearly 55 students were participated in the event. Pariksha Pe Charcha - 2022 World Health Day ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022’ an online student interactive session by Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi was held on 1st April 2022. SACCP made all the arrangements to watch live address of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on at Yuvalaya for the Students, teachers, and staffs who were actively participated in the program. The awareness about the good health in society have been spread on the occasion of ‘World health day’ on 7th April 2022 by distributing the digital leaflet in social media. “A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.” - Amy Poehler


57 TB Awareness Programme Department of Pharmacy Practice, conducted TB Awareness Programme on 24th March 2022 in association with NTEP unit of AIMS, NSS unit of SACCP & AIMS and Rotary Club B.G Nagara at Srirangapura. TB Risk Assessment was done by the students on door-to-door basis followed by educating them on correct usage of medicines and safe disposal of expired drugs. Leaflets and pamphlets were distributed to the people on Tuberculosis. The formal gathering was addressed by the dignitaries from AIMS and SACCP, ACU. Dr. Shashikanth, Nodal Officer, NTEP & Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, Dr. Shashikiran, Nodal officer, Unnath Bharath Abhiyan and Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine and Mr. Kumaraswamy, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice addressed the gathering on Tuberculosis and various schemes for TB patients. Dr. Jeet Bahadur Moktan and Mr. Renukaradhya Chitti, Ph. D Scholars of Department of Pharmacy Practice, highlighted on Patient Safety and Antibiotic Resistance as well. A Help-Desk was set up for counselling the people on Tuberculosis with proper aids. V Pharm. D Students performed Role Play to spread the awareness about the TB. Various games were conducted for the villagers and children. The students along with the faculties of Pharmacy Practice and Asha workers have visited around 70 houses in the village. A total of 80 Pharmacy students and medical students actively participated in the program.


58 Pharmaceutical Industry-academia Conclave Health Camp One day workshop on “Pharmaceutical industryAcademia conclave” was organised by IPA KSB in association with KDPMA at MSRUAS on 9th April 2022 at M.S Ramaiah Medical College, Auditorium, Bangalore. 28 UG, PG, PhD students and faculty of SACCP participated in the conclave. During this SACCP has signed two MOUs with “Group Pharmaceuticals & Ce Chem Pharmaceuticals” for collaborative Research/ Projects Job/training etc. Deliberations during workshop were followed by panel discussion comprising of Industry and academic experts on Academic institutions catering to the needs of Pharma industries. A team of 30 PharmD and Ph. D Scholars from Department of Pharmacy Practice, attended the Mega Health Camp on 10th April 2022 at Sri Adichunchanagiri Institute of technology in Chikmagaluru. The various departments of AH&RC and various institutions under Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust were unified for the successful conduct of Mega camp wherein nearly 12000+people attended the same. The students from SACCP were actively involved in dispensing and patient counselling. CRPF Valour Day Sri Adichunchanagiri college of Pharmacy, 57th celebration of Shourya Diwas, CRPF Valour Day was celebrated on 9th April 2022 to pay homage to our brave force and remember their bravery at Sardar Post.


59 Annual Sports Meet 2022 Four days "Annual Sports Meet 2022" was organised by institutional sport committee on 10th April to 12th April 2022. First day, Indoor games like Carroms and Chess for both boys and girls. Around 90 students were actively participated in the games. Second day was Inaugural match against staff Vs IV B. Pharm students, cricket league matches and Indoor games like shuttles for both boys and girls. Around 150 students were actively participated in the games. Third day, league matches for cricket, kabaddi, throw ball, Volley ball were conducted along with Athletics like 100 M, 200 M and shotput for both boys and girls. Necessary refreshment and lunch were provided to all the sports lovers gathered at the stadium. Around 350 students participated with great enthusiasm. On fourth day, the Final matches for cricket, kabaddi, throw ball and Volley ball were conducted. Around 350 students participated with great enthusiasm.


60 World Creativity and Innovation Day 2022 Innovative Ideation Promotion Event Parent Teacher Meeting World creativity and innovation day 2022 was observed by distributing the digital pamphlet on social media on 21st April 2022. To Strengthen the ACU- ACE Incubation cell, team of three members delegation from SACCP, have attended a unique trailblazing innovative ideation promotion event "BLAZE 2022” at JSSAHER, Mysuru on 25th May 2022. “BLAZE 2022” is a pitching platform for the inventor’s proof of concept, product concept, product, or idea for a sponsored scientific experiment or trial. The eminent juries from Pharma Industry like Group pharmaceuticals were present and gave their Letter of Intent to the inventor’s proposal which was selected. The event was well appreciated by the inventors and it was a great learning for budding innovative minds. Conducted parent’s teacher meeting for I sem B Pharm, on 23rd April 2022. The aim of the meeting was to share students’ academic progress, slow learners’ observation and their interactions with teaches. Nearly 20 parents were attended the meeting and discussed about the performance and improvisation initiatives for students. Parent's meeting for first year D. Pharm students conducted on 27th April 2022, in presence of subject teachers. 40+ students took their parents and the meeting was very effective and Interactive with Parents.


61 World Intellectual Property Day-2022 Mega Health Camp - II Basava Jayanti and Eid Organized a session on awareness about IPR on the occasion of world intellectual property day-2022, in association with IIC and ACE on 26th April 2022. Around 100+students attended the session and got insights on IPR. Dr. Naga Prashant K, Assistant professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutical chemistry, was the speaker of the event. A team of 28 Pharm D and Ph. D Scholars from Department of Pharmacy Practice, have attended the Mega Health Camp on 1st May 2022 at Maddur organised by Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Adichunchanagiri Hospital and Research Centre (AIMS & AHRC). The various departments of AH & RC and various institutions under Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust were unified for the successful conduct of Mega camp wherein nearly 10000+ people attended the same. The students from SACCP were actively involved in dispensing and patient counselling. Basava Jayanti, the birth anniversary of renowned philosopher Basaveshwara, who founded the Lingayat sect, was celebrated on 3rd May 2022. On the occasions of Basava Jayanti and Eid, SACCP have greet all the students and staff by releasing leaflet in digital platform on 3rd May 2022.


62 Seminar on Closing Gaps in Asthma Care Deeksha - Maithree - 2022 (Graduation Ceremony and Alumni Meet) Pharm D Interns from Department of Pharmacy Practice, attended a guest lecture on "Closing Gaps in Asthma Care" organized by Department of General Medicine, AHRC on the occasion of ‘World Asthma Day’ which was held in AIIMS seminar hall on 5th May 2022. Dr. Shashikanth Bhat, Professor & Head, Department of General Medicine rendered the welcome speech and Dr. M.G Shivaramu, Principal, AIMS gave the inaugural address for the program. The speaker of the day was Dr. Deepu Changappa, HOD & Professor, Department of Respiratory Medicine, AH & RC highlighted on the Asthma and COPD overlap, need to diagnose ACOS and elaborated on GOLD/GINA guidelines. The session was attended by Physicians, Medical Students and Pharm D Students. Sri Adichunchanagiri College of pharmacy celebrated Deeksha - Maithree (Annual Graduation ceremony and Alumni meet) 2022 on 7th May 2022 at Yuvalaya. After the customary invocation song and lighting the lamp, Dr. Ramesh B, Dean & Principal, SACCP welcomed all the dignitaries, parents, faculty & graduates. Dr. Prakash Goudannavar, HOD Department of Pharmaceutics administered the pharmacist oath to all the graduands assembled at the auditorium. Chief Guest, Dr. T V Narayana, President, IPA in his Graduation Day address, stressed on the importance of youth in the development of nation. He congratulated all the Graduates and advised them to utilize the knowledge gained during their studies for the betterment of the society and themselves. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M A Shekar, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, ACU- advised the students to make the right choices that will determine the course of their future years. His Holiness Paramapoojya Jagadguru Sri. Sri. Sri. Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji graced the function and delivered the words of wisdom to the entire graduated pharmacist. Throughout speech,

Event also witnessed the release of college Magazine ‘Aoushadhagiri (Volume IX)’, Research Compendium and lews letter ‘Pharmawave’ and ‘Aoushadhavani’ by dignitaries of Adichunchanagiri University. On this eve, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy felicitated Dr. Praful Talaviya, Assistant. Manager - Scientific and Clinical Affairs, Novumgen Limited and to Mr. Sandeep V R, Associate Manager Life Science Compliance, Accenture, Bangaluru, with the Distinguished Alumni Award. During this occasion, around 140 students of different pharmacy courses like B. Pharm, Pharm. D, M. Pharm and D Pharm got graduated. Parents expressed joyful gratitude to the faculty and the management in molding their wards as professionals in the course of study in our Institution. The program was also witnessed by Dr. C K Subbaraya, registrar, ACU and Principals of all constituent colleges of ACU and team SACCP. The function ended with the national anthem. MSME Conclave 2022 On 13th May 2022, regional MSME Conclave 2022- “Scaling Through Collaboration” was organized in Hotel Taj, Yeshwantapur, Bangalore with the theme of “Sustainability and development for MSME towards the building India”. Around 100 participants attended the conclave. Dr. Vedamurthy Joshi & Dr. Dinesh R participated from Sri Adichunchanagiri college of Pharmacy, BG Nagara. The main Objective of the session was to create a knowledge exchange platform represented by Government functionaries and thought leaders from sunrise industries & Digital Finance with a focus to rejuvenate & accelerate the growth of MSME sector in areas like 1) EV (Green Mobility) & associated infrastructure 2) Food Processing & Export, 3) Supply Chain Management - The Digital ecosystem, 4) Financial Management- Enabling Digital transformation of the MSME sector, by providing market access through Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and other Govt. initiatives in reducing the cost of finance by Open Credit Enablement Network (OCEAN) to create a favourable ecosystem to the MSME sector.


64 Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, organized one day Industrial visit to Micro Labs Ltd, Bangalore on 20th May 2022. Total 55 students of D. Pharm students have been visited. Mr. Chandrappa, General Manager, interacted with all the students and assigned two employees to take our students for rounds. they have explained ongoing processes such as Various equipment’s involved in production, different stages of manufacturing process and packing of different formulations and also allowed our students to visit each operational unit. Buddha Purnima IPR Cell Visit Industrial Visit Buddha Purnima is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Gautam Buddha who founded the religion of Buddhism. It is a sacred event observed by members of the Buddhist community across the world. On the occasion SACCP have greet all the students and staff by releasing leaflet in digital platform on 16th May 2022. Intelectual property right or IPR refers to the legal rights given to the inventor or creator to protect his invention or creation for a certain period of time. These legal rights confer an exclusive right to the inventor/creator or his assignee to fully utilize his invention/creation for a given period of time. So the relevency of IPR is very approprite for student who are in research. Hance Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, has orgnised one day field visit to IPR Cell of Adichunchanagiri University on 18th May 2022. Dr. Ravi Kumar G K, incharge of IPR Cell, ACU, has given an brief outlook about the Intelectual Property Rights including their categories. Students were shone the case reports for better understanding about the process of filing a patent. Around 30 M.Pharm students of all departments participated in this field visit and got benifited.


65 Anti-terrorism Day World no Tobacco Day Star Rating for SACCP Alumni Interactions NSS Unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, observed Anti-Terrorism Day on 21st May 2022 at Yuvalaya. Main objective of the program was to spread the message of peace and sensitize people about the havoc created because of terrorism. Program begined with delivering Anti-Terrorism pledge to the gathering. NSS Volunteers of the unit delivered speech on terrorism both in Kannada and English. A short movie about terrorism was also played to promote unity and prevent the young generation from getting involved with terror groups. NSS Volunteers and staffs actively participated in the event. NSS unit of SACCP spread an awareness campaign on 31st May 2022 in the context of world no tobacco day. Digital leaflets were circulated among student groups and other social digital platforms. Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, Happy to share that recently it scored 34.99 points and 28.33 reward points with that SACCP has secured 1.5 out of 2 stars from Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of MoE’s Innovation Cell Ministry of Education, Govt of India for the activities of Q1 and Q2 for the year 2021-22. Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, B G Nagara, has organized a guest lecture by Alumni Mr. Niranjan Kumar C V, Executive in Regulatory Affairs in Micro labs – Bangalore, on 26th May 2022. PG Students of Department, attended the session. The session was useful to the students.


66 NBA Re-accreditation Leading Educationist Award Mega Health Camp - III Patents World Environment Day - 2022 Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, B Pharm Programme has been re accreted by National Board of accreditation (NBA) from 2022- 23 to 2024-25 Dr. B Ramesh, Dean of Pharmacy and Principal, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, have been conferred and awarded as ‘Leading educationist award’ from friendship forum, Goa for the recognition of his exceptional caliber and outstanding performance in his chosen area activity. Fifteen students of Pharm D programme, Department of Pharmacy Practice, attended the Mega Health Camp organized by Adichunchanagiri Hospital & Research Centre on 10th June 2022 at Turuvekere, Tumkur dist. Karnataka. The various departments of AH&RC unitedly worked for the successful conduct of Mega camp wherein nearly 9000 people attended. The students from SACCP were actively involved in dispensing and patient counselling. Leaflets were circulated on social media platforms for the awareness about the environment among all social groups


67 ABCDEFGHI Blood Donation Drive On 6th June 2022, AICTE, Ministry of Education, launched a new scheme named as “ABCDEFGHI” in collaboration with multi-National companies, EdTech companies & Start-ups, with the vision of teaching ABCDEFGHI once again to our higher education students and recent graduates in a quite different aspect which is 38 future emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Block Chain, Data Analytics, Cyber Security and many more relevant fields under Digital Skilling up program. This programme has the Goal of Empowering 10 crore School Students, Higher Education students and recent graduates to access industry-aligned courses for skilling and upskilling key for Aatm-Nirbhar Bharat. The event was live streamed through YouTube at Yuvalaya auditorium, nearly 80 students of VIII Sem B Pharm course attended the program. Department of Pharmacy Practice, conducted "Blood Donation Drive" on 15th June 2022 in association with AIMS, AH &RC and NSS (SACCP unit). The program started with FLASHMOB, performance by B. The programme was overwhelmed with the esteemed presence of various dignitaries from ACU University, AIMS and AH&RC. A poster exhibition was conducted to create awareness about importance of blood donation among the students. Around 76 students volunteered to donate blood to the Blood Bank of AH & RC. Out of which 50 have donated blood after meeting the inclusion criteria. The donors were honoured with donor's certificate and tokens of gratitude and also data was collected from the interested volunteers which will be compiled and given to Blood bank, AH &RC to meet the future demands for blood. Various games were organised to entertain the students and faculties. The event was a grand success leaving behind a moral example to the society and mankind.


68 Campus Placement Drive - I & II Cleanliness Drive Training and Placement Cell, organized Campus recruitment drive-I for the final year students of B. Pharm on 15th June 2022. The recruiter was Biofern Life Science’s (P) Ltd. Total 63 students from B Pharm and M Pharm were enrolled for the interview and 23 students were succeed in interview for various departments like Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs. Institutional NSS team participated in one day Cleanliness Drive organised by NSS Cell, Adichunchangiri University on 17th June 2022 at Bhrammadevarahalli village. The main objective of this programme was to spread awareness among the village people about the significance of Cleanliness and its benefits. During the drive volunteers performed the street play to create awareness about environmental pollution and its hazardous effect on mankind. Around 200 school students were present during the play. Training and Placement cell organized campus recruitment-II for the final year B. Pharm students’ batch desirous of making their career in Hospital establishment on 22nd June, 2022 by the Manipal Hospitals. Nearly 36 students enrolled the recruitment process and participated. Positive feedbacks were received from both the HR managers and interviewers. 14 students have been shortlisted by Manipal Hospitals through campus placement.


69 International Yoga Day-2022 Booster Dose Vaccination Drive Vidhyapeeta International Yoga Day was celebrated at BGS stadium, ACU campus, B G Nagara on 21st June 2022. Dr C K Subbaraya, Registrar of ACU inaugurated the event and Sri Raveendra Kumar, Yoga expert was the moderator of the Yoga session. All the Principals of constituent colleges of ACU, faculty and more than 3000 students participated in the program with great enthusiasm and discipline highlighting " Yoga for Humanity “, the theme of the day. Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, association with AIMS & AHRC, organised Booster Dose Vaccination Drive on 23rd June 2022 at Yuvalaya. During the drive around 150 eligible candidates including students, teaching and non-teaching staffs got benefited. The staffs of PHC, Bellur are thanked for their support towards the conduct of this drive. SACCP has participated on the Public TV's education expo VIDHYAPEETA, a three-day long event that bought one Ninety educational institutes under one roof, scheduled during 24th - 26th June 2022 in association with Ad6 agency at Gayathri Vihar, Palace Grounds, Bangalore. The annual collaborative education expo, VIDHYAPEETA brings young minds and the best educational institutions together, offering a resourceful interaction on a single platform. 3 days long event saw nearly 5000 footfalls.


70 Eduverse- Jnana Degula Annual Education Expo World Forgiveness Day 2022 World Population Day 2022 Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy of Adichunchanagiri University participated in the XII Edition of the Eduverse- Jnana Degula annual education expo, was organised by Deccan Herald and Prajavani during 2nd - 3rd July 2022, witnessed a notable rush of students and their parents looking to find answers to that mostasked question, "what next?". 48 stalls of top educational institutions were set up addressed the queries of parents and students alike. The expo catered to nearly 3000 students in classes 11 and 12 who’s aim to appear for CET, NEET and COMED-K and aspire to get in to top colleges. The following faculty represented ACU at the expo Mr. Tripathy Amrutanand S have represented Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy among other five constitute ventures of Adichunchanagiri University. Every year World forgiveness day is observed on 7th July 2022 to raise awareness regarding the importance of forgiveness. The day brings an opportunity to forgive people and heal themselves by bringing peace into their lives. Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy has circulated digital awareness leaflets to the social media on this day. On the occasion of world population day 2022, on 11th July 2022, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy has circulated digital awareness leaflets to the social media focusing about the overpopulation hazards in future society.


71 Ethnic Day - 2022 NIRF Ranking 2022 Students of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy celebrated Ethnic Day on 11th July 2022 in full pomp and splendor. It was quite an energetic event with students dressed in ethnic attire radiating enthusiasm and passion. Taking a break from monotony and experiencing a sense of happiness definitely had a positive effect on the students' emotional. Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, BG Nagara, with the blessings of Paramapoojya, Sri Sri Sri Dr Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, secured 80th Position of NIRF 2022 all India rankings. In the last three years we were at 75th and in the band of 76-100. Currently at 2023 SACCP is on 78th Rank as per NIRF.


72 Sayonara Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, juniors hosted the “Sayonara” Farewell Party on 12th July 2022. The students from all programs gathered at the college auditorium, YUVALAYA, to bid farewell to the outgoing students of D. Pharm/B. Pharm/Pharm. D and M. Pharm. Taking part in the event was a great deal of fun. As part of this event, students showcased their talents through participation in various programs and shared their experiences about their entire tenure at SACCP; on the other hand, the teaching fraternity wished students best of luck in their future endeavors. In attendance were the Dean and Principal of the Pharmacy Department, the Chairs of the departments, and the teaching and nonteaching staff. Kargil Vijay Diwas On July 26, 2022, India honoured the heroic sacrifices and bravery of the fallen heroes in retaking various mountain heights taken by Pakistani intruders in Kashmir, celebrating the 23-year anniversary of its victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War as Kargil vijay Diwas. 73 Two Days Startup Festival Adichunchanagiri Centre for Entrepreneurs (ACE), in association with Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, BG Nagara, OpEx startup accelerators, Kolhapur and IIC Institution Innovations council, jointly organized Two days StartUp Festival on an account of World Youth Skill Day On 14th- 15th July 2022. In this festival, Ideation and Business model Competition was arranged. Students of Sri Adichunchanagiri college of Pharmacy, AIMS, BGSIT Adichunchanagiri Nursing College, BG Nagara, Venkateshwara college of Engineering, Bengaluru, participated and presented their innovative ideas and Business models in startup festival on 14th-15th July 2022 conducted by SACCP-ACE. Mr. Sriharsha P, a debut Incubatee of ACE and CEO of Arthanaya solutions conducted the panel discussion with the expert team and clarified various doubts of the upcoming Entrepreneurs. Mr. Sachin Kumbhoje, Director, OpEX Accelerator, Mr. Suryakant Dodmise, CEO, SIBIC Kolhapur, Mr. Mrunal Khangaonkar, Proprietor, Smaran Technology screened 30+ ideas for the competition along with the Special lecture and Workshops. Mr. Vishwajeet Kashid, addressed the gathering for platelet donation activity. Event was coordinated by Dr. Vedamurthy Joshi, Dr Naveen & Dr Nagaprashanth, Mr. Venugopal under the leadership of Dr. B Ramesh, Dean Pharmacy and Principal, SACCP.


74 World Hepatitis Day – 2022 Department of Pharmacy Practice, of Sri Adichunchagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU organised Community Awareness Programme on account of World Hepatitis Day on 28th July 2022 at Kuchahalli. The programme started with the conduct of Rally by the students of SACCP to sensitize the common people towards Hepatitis and its preventive measures with the display of Placards. The students visited the houses in Kuchahalli and educated the people through distribution of leaflets. The formal gathering was addressed by Mr. Naveen kumar (Former President, Taluk Panchayath, Nagamangala Taluk) Mr. Narasimha (Primary School Teacher) and Mr. Channakeshava (Head Master, Higher Primary School Kuchuhalli). To inculcate awareness on Hepatitis among people, the students of SACCP performed skits and delivered speech highlighting the importance of preventive measures against Hepatitis. The programme was overwhelmed by the immense support and participation of the villagers, faculties and students of SACCP. Around 150 people attended the programme.


75 International Friendship Day 2022 World Breast Feeding Week - 2022 Campus Placement On the occasion of International Friendship Day 2022, Sri Adichunchagiri College of Pharmacy hosted a movie night at Yuvalaya on 29th July 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The motto of this movie night to foster connection and harmony among students. The programme was a success, with over 150 students in attendance watching the film "Jolly Days," which is about college life and friendship. Dr. Shree Harsha, Pharm D intern, and Mr. Dileep coordinated the event, under the guidance of Dr. B Ramesh, Principal SACCP, BG Nagara in association with Apics studio. On the occasion of World breast feeding week-2022 from 1st - 7th August 2022, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, have distributed pamphlet on the theme of ‘Support breast feeding for a healthier planet’ with the association of rotary club, BG Nagar on 2nd August 2022. In this part of celebration, an awareness leaflet was distributed in social media to support and promote breastfeeding for child health and protects mothers from ovarian and breast cancer risk. Training and placement cell of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, organised campus placement for Final years B. Pharm /M. Pharm and Pharm. D students for “AQuity Solutions India Pvt Ltd”. For the position of Medical Scribe Trainee position across India with ₹4.5 lac per annum package for freshers. 41 students across three streams participated and 17 of them successfully cleared first round. Results of second round are awaited.


76 Mysuru Startup Pavillion Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Students and young entrepreneurs from ACE (Adichunchanagiri Center for Entrepreneurs) of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, attended the ‘Mysuru Startup Pavillion’ event from 5-7th August 2022 and received various inputs on the current trend in startups and various other platforms that are available in the government and bank sectors. The students interacted with over 37 startups during the function and received numerous inputs that they can implement. On 12th August 2022, NSS unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy have distributed national flag to students, Faculty and others to encourage them to hoist the national flag on Independence Day as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 2022, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. NSS unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy have organised a rally on 12th August 2022 to create awareness on Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 2022.


77 Independence Day Celebration IIC - SWRO Regional Meet Students and faculties of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy have participated in the mega event of 76th Indian independence day celebration organised by Adichunchanagiri University, BG Nagar on 15th August 2022. This occation was grassed by Sri Sri Sri Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, honerable Chancellor, ACU, Dr. M A Shekar, honerable ViceChancellor, ACU. The felcitation was offred to Sri HM Shivanna, Freedom fiter and social worker, Hassan by the dignitories. Registrer, ACU, CEO of Sri Adichunchanagir Shikshana trust, and all the Principles of constituent colleges were the guest of this aspecious occation. Students of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy have performed cultural programme on this mega event. Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, have participated and certified in IIC - SWRO Regional Meet at Reva University, Bangalore on 16th August 2022 and presented poster. The topics discussed during the meet were 1. Areas of innovation and development. 2. DRDO- technology development fund opportunities 3. AICTE- idea lab 4. Nidhi funding, national innovation funding. Dr. Prakash Goudanavar delivered presentation during Knowledge Sharing Session. 78 Health Camp Krishna Janmashtami Department of Pharmacy Practice of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU in association with AH & RC organised a health camp at SAC College of Arts Commerce and Science Nagamangala on 17th -18th August 2022 for the conduct ACU Funded Research Project: - Phase 2. Around 538 people were screened for anaemia considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria out of which 154 were considered as anaemic based on their Haemoglobin value and blood sample for the same has been collected and awareness was provided on anaemia and the importance of management of anaemia. Around 35 Pharm D students from SACCP, OBG PG from AH & RC, laboratory technicians from Central Laboratory, AH & RC volunteered for the successful conduct of the camp. 79 World Entrepreneur Day Food Fest Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organized World Entrepreneur Day on 22nd August 2022, in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and Adichunchanagiri Center for Entrepreneurs (ACE). Prof. Megha B, Department of HR & OB, Coordinator-Centre for Entrepreneurship, Ramaiah Institute of Management and Prof. Yashaswini Department of HR & OB, Coordinator-Centre for Entrepreneurship, Ramaiah Institute of Management delivered lecture on various phases of entrepreneurship journey with a special focus on design thinking. Various documentation or licences requires for start-up and funding sources has been elaborated. Around 125 students of B. Pharmacy, Pharm. D, M. Pharmacy and research scholars were actively participated and got benefited. Adichunchanagiri Centre for Entrepreneurs, Adichunchanagiri University in association with Sri Adichunchanagiri college of Pharmacy and Institutions Innovative Council (IIC's) conducted Food Fest on the occasion of ‘World Entrepreneurs Day 2022’ on 23rd August 2022. The event was conducted to improve the skills and abilities of Entrepreneurship among the students to prepare food items without using fire. More than 9 teams participated and 300+ students interacted in buy and sell activity of the program. All the teams got an idea, how to prepare and sell their unique food products? The event was judged by Dr. Annegowda, Mr. Satish Kumar BP and Dr. Rashmi N G and best enterpreneal sellers were awarded with cash prize. The event was organised by Dr. Shree Harsha under the guidance of Dr B Ramesh, Principal SACCP.


80 Benkotsava - 2K22 Teacher’s Day Celebration On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on 31st August 2022, students of SACCP coordinated by team Athreyans organized "Benkotsava - 2k22" offering Lord Ganesha with pooja, flowers, fruits, sweets, colours, hymns and many such. Students and staffs participated during the Ganesha Pratistapana and seeked the blessings and grace of our lord. On the occasion of Teachers' Day, Pharm D interns from Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organized Teacher’s Day celebration on 7th September 2022, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, to thank all the teachers for their love and affection towards the students and for guiding them to follow the right path. The event was quite fun-filled. During the event, students paid their respects, expressed gratitude, love and affection towards teachers. On the other hand, teachers addressed the whole gathering of 300 plus students with speech bearing inspiring words and stories in a joyous way. Cake cutting, teachers' singing songs, playing games and dancing were some of the eyecatching performances. The event was successful and ended on a happy note.


81 Onam Greetings Expert Visit On the aspecious occation of Onam, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, circulated Onam greetings to all the students and faculties and also the stalk holders in social platform on 8th September 2022. Mr. Raja Agnihotri, Chief strategic advisor, Adivity Research Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad had visited Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy campus on 10th September 2022 and interacted with faculty members on various research and development process. He also visited the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Trial Centre and had rendered his expertise overviews. In connection with that Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU- have underwent III ISO surveillance (TUVSUD) audit on 27th August 2022. Mr. Lingaraj G & Mr. SV Sreeraj were the Auditors.


82 National Pharmacovigilance Week 2022 ADR Monitoring Centre (AMC) and Medical Device Adverse Event Monitoring Centre (MDMC) of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, in association with AMC and MDMC, Department of Pharmacy Practice, has broadcasted the Inaugural Ceremony hosted by Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission at Yuvalaya as a part of weeklong ‘National Pharmacovigilance Week 2022’ celebration began on 17th September 2022. As part of the event a webinar session was conducted and was broadcasted in Yuvalaya on ‘’Encouraging ADR Reporting by Patients’’ and the resource person was Dr. Dharani Bhoopathi, Senior Pharmacovigilance Associate, Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), Ghaziabad. Dr. Dharini, in her session explained about the importance of educating the patients to report ADR, the factors affecting them and the role of pharmacist in ADR reporting and monitoring. Around 150 students actively participated.


83 On 19th September 2022, the Third Day of National Pharmacovigilance Week 2022, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice, of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organised several competitions such as Essay competition at Yuvalaya. A total of students 24 students from various classes actively participated and the topics were: 1. Role of pharmacist in ADR monitoring 2. Significance of Pharmacovigilance in drug safety. Another competition called ‘Brainy genie’ was also conducted where, there were 3 rounds (Drug building, Check your memory, Pill train etc.) A Total 17 group comprising of 34 students participated in the competition. The Debate competition was held and total of 8 groups (40 students) competed in this competition. Continuing on 20th September 2022, the Fourth Day of National Pharmacovigilance Week 2022, a quiz competition was held at Yuvalaya. A total of 75 students from various classes actively participated. The Treasure hunt was conducted. Nearly 130 students participated in the competition. On 21st September 2022, the Fifth Day of National Pharmacovigilance Week 2022, a Rally was organised in and around Bellur by the Dept. of Pharmacy Practice. Around 150 students actively participated which aimed at sensitizing and encouraging the public towards ADR reporting. The rally was overwhelmed by the public response and pamphlets were distributed among the general public. Followed by a formal meeting was conducted at Government School, Bellur. Dr. B. Ramesh, Principal, SACCP, ACU and the Headmaster, Government School, Karnataka were the chief guests. A mime show and a Skit was performed by Pharm. D students. In the afternoon session, Synchronising dance competition and Dance in a circle Competitions were held at Yuvalaya.


84 On 22nd September 2022, the Sixth Day of National Pharmacovigilance Week 2022, a Sensitization Programmes was conducted to create awareness among the community pharmacists in and around B G Nagara towards Pharmacovigilance and ADR Reporting. Pharmacy students from V and VI pharm D were actively indulged in the Sensitization Programme. In the afternoon session, evaluation of the Drawing competition was conducted. Nearly 20 paintings and drawings were exhibited in the Yuvalaya. 85 On 23rd September 2022, the Last Day of ‘National Pharmacovigilance Week 2022’ celebrations, a seminar and a sensitization programme was conducted on the topic ‘Safety surveillance System: Medical Device Adverse Event Reporting Tools’. The speaker was Dr. V Hari Haran, Research scientist, National Coordination Centre (NCC), Materiovigilance programme of India (MvPI), Indian Pharmacopeia Commission, Ghaziabad delivered the lecture. During the session, he elaborated the various medical devices and discussed a case study to illustrate the Medical Device Adverse Event Reporting Form. Around 150 students of Pharmacy College attended for the session. In the afternoon session, Sensitization Programme was conducted to create awareness among the healthcare professionals and patients in the hospital towards Pharmacovigilance and ADR Reporting. Pharmacy students from V Pharm D were actively indulged in the Sensitization Programme and followed by validatory functions of the National Pharmacovigilance Week- 2022 celebrations. World Ozone Day-2022 World Peace Day-2022 Institutional NSS unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy have distributed digital leaflet on the occasion of ‘World Ozone Day2022’ on 16th September 2022 in all the social media platforms to create an awareness about the significance of ozone layer for the protection of life on earth. 86 Department of Pharmacy Practice of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organised world pharmacist day 2022 on the theme "Pharmacy United in action for a healthier world'. As a part of World Pharmacist Day 2022 an exhibition was conducted on 27th of September 2022 at AH & RC Quadrangle. Exhibition was inaugurated by honourable Vice Chancellor of Adichunchanagiri University Dr. M A Shekhar, followed by inauguration of Medsbin. The programme was overwhelmed with the esteemed presence of Dr. C K Subbaraya (Registrar, ACU), Dr M G Shivaramu (Principal, AIMS & Dean, Health Sciences (Medical), ACU), Dr. B. G Sagar (Medical Superintendent, AH & RC) and dignitaries from ACU University, AIMS and AH&RC. On the occasion, two seniors most Pharmacist of AH & RC was felicitated by dignitaries for their contribution in serving the society. Various informative and attractive games were organised for the entertainment of the people visiting the exhibition. Around 300 students and faculties from SACCP, AH & RC, AIMS participated in the event. Tablet Cup-2022 World Pharmacist Day-2022 Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, bagged the Runners up trophy in the Tablet Cup - 2022 Cricket Tournament held on 23rd - 24th September 2022, jointly orgainsed by KSPC and JSS College of Pharmacy at Mysuru. Institutional department of Sports have coordinated and facilitated the team SACCP for the tournament.


87 NSS unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy observed NSS Day and National Clean-up Day-2022 by organising one day Trekking and Plogging Drive at Haddinakallu Hanumanthraya Temple, Bairsandra on 26th September 2022.The aim of the programme was to create awareness in Volunteers about Plogging Program and to eradicate the use of plastic in and around temple area. Around 40 NSS volunteers enthusiastically participated in the programme. During the drive around 30 to 40 kg of waste were collected and disposed in a proper way. 88 ACE - Arthanaya Solutions LLP of ACUAdichunchanagiri Center for Entrepreneurs (ACUInstitutional NSS unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, B G Nagara celebrated "Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti "on 1st October 2022 at Yuvalaya. Programme was formally begined with invocation song and lighting the lamp. Students and teachers delivered speeches on the life and principles of mahatma Gandhi. A special speech by Principal Dr. Ramesh B, with Gandhian quotes and messages brought the gathering to understand more about this iconic leader. Volunteers also paid special tributes to the Father of the Nation through singing patriotic songs. All teaching, nonteaching staffs and students enthusiastically participated in the programme. 89 Adichunchanagiri University organised Kannada Rajyotsava-2022, was celebrated with great pomp and fervor at BGS Auditorium, Adichunchanagiri University in the divine presence of Paramapoojya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji. Prof M krishnegowda, Rajyotsava Awardee, GOK was the Chief Guest. Dr N S Ramegowda, CEO, SAST, Dr Rajkumar Katri, BOG member of ACU, Dr M A Shekar, VC of ACU, Dr C K Subbaraya, Registrar of ACU, ACU officials, Principals of constituent colleges of ACU, faculty and students participated in the program. 90 Adichunchanagiri Center for Entrepreneurs (ACE) of ACU - students from Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy attended the “Global Investors Meet 2022” at Bangalore on 2nd November 2022. This event was inaugurated by Prime minister Sri Narendra Modi and addressed a large gathering of lawmakers, industry leaders, technocrats and entrepreneurs “We’ve freed our investors from red-tapism and given them a red carpet of opportunities. Instead of making new complicated laws, we rationalised them,”. Three Union ministers -- Finance Minister. Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Industries Minister Sri Piyush Goyal, and Coal and Mines Minister Sri Pralhad Joshalong with Chief Minister Sri Basavaraj Bommai and state cabinet ministers were present during the event and addressed the gathering. The students received various insights on the global economy and investors perspective, the majority of the investment was to develop Karnataka and India and nurture the startup ecosystem which counted for an overall sum of around &5 lakh crores. 91 Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU, with the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji secured 4 stars out of 5 stars from Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of MoE’s Innovation Cell Ministry of Education Govt of India for the activities during the year 2021-22. Department of Pharmacy Practice of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU in association with AH & RC organised a camp at Agachahalli on 9th December 2022 for the conduct ACU funded research project phase 2, A follow for the subjects who were diagnosed with anemia were screened. Awareness was given on anemia and the importance of management of anemia. Around 7 pharm D students and PG students from AH &RC, laboratory technicians from central laboratory, AH&RC volunteered for the successful conduct of the camp. Camp was overwhelmed by the support of CHO of Agachahalli. Department of Pharmacy Practice and Institutional NSS Unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU, jointly Organised Poster Presentation and Drawing Competition on the occasion of ‘World AIDS Day’ on 1st December 2022 at Yuvalaya on the theme ‘Equalize’. More than 18 teams comprising 40 students participated in the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm and expressed their thoughts on different aspects of HIV/AIDS through their drawing and poster presentation. 92 Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organised an online evaluation session on 10th December 2022, for MSME idea hackathon 2.0 (Theme based), where experts screened all 23 ideas and provided positive feedback on the ideas as well as the conduction of the session. Best 10 Selected ideas shall be taken to the next level. The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU, organized a "field visit to Crown Coir Industry”, Bellur, Mandya on 17th December 2022. During the visit, our students interacted with Mr. Mohammed Ismail, a coir industry expert, and they learned about various manufacturing processes in addition to exciting pharmaceutical uses of coir and related by products. Faculty members Mr. Purushotham K. N & Mr. Manoj Mouli C along with 27 students took part in and benefited from this field visit. Sri Adichunchanagiri college of pharmacy, ACU have organised second induction programme for freshers for 2022-23 batch on 16th December 2022. The resource persons were Mr Chethen Ram RA, Motivational speaker and Dr. Vasanthakumar, Professor Anaesthesiology, AIMS. All the fershers nearly 200 students were participated in this programme and interacted and motivated. 93 Sri Adichunchanagri College of Pharmacy, ACU organised Christmas Day Celebration on 19th of December 2022 at Yuvalaya. The students of SACCP have prepared crib and Christmas Trees in the campus as a part of the Celebration. A formal function was conducted during the Ceremony. Ms.Risha Snehal Monis(VI Pharm.D) welcomed the formal gathering. Dr. Prakash S Goudanavar, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutics & Regulatory Affairs & Dr. Rupesh Kumar, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology, enlightened the gathering with Christmas message. The program was overwhelmed by the presence of the HODs of various departments of SACCP. Christmas Carol was organised to welcome the joy of Christmas Function. Various games and cultural programmes were conducted as part of the celebration. During the occasion, prizes have been distributed to the winners of the various events of Pharmacovigilance week Programme 2022. 94 NSS Cell Adichunchanagiri University organized National Integration Camp in association with State NSS Cell, Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports and Regional Directorate of NSS, Bengaluru from 29th December 2022 to 04th January 2023. The event was organized as a cultural exchange programme to spread the message of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat.’ The youth were encouraged to be self-reliant, independent and skilled in realizing their civic and national responsibilities. Over 160 volunteers and 20 NSS program officers have participated in the program from different part of the country like Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Tamil Nādu, Andra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Odisha and Gujarat. Three Volunteers Sri Adichunchanagiri college of pharmacy actively participated in 7-Day National Integration Camp (NIC). They were 1. Manish Mutthappa A S (Pharm D) 2. Hamsaveni G (B Pharm) and 3. Harshitha (B Pharm). During the camp activities like cultural program, talks, sports and adventure activities were organised. 95 Explore Entrepreneur in you : A Start up Approach Project Identification and Funding Opportunities for MSME Sectors Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU in association with ACE, CORMIL & CMPAT, IIC organised a seminar entitled ‘Explore Entrepreneur in you: A start up Approach’ on 6th July 2022. The speakers were Dr. Vedamurthy Joshi, Assoc. professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutics, Dr. Naga Prashanth K, Asst. professor, Dept. of Ph. Chemistry, Dr. N Raghavendra Naveen, Asst. professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutics. Students of various pharmacy programmes are attended the seminar. Adichunchanagiri Centre for Entrepreneurs, an incubation centre Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, BG Nagara organized a one-day seminar on “Project identification and funding opportunities for MSME sectors” On 28th July 2022 by Mr. R. Gopinath Rao, IEDS DY Director MSME DFO, Bengaluru. More than 120 students participated for the event from SEMINAR various institutions including BGSIT, BG Nagara, Adichunchanagiri college of Nursing, BG Nagara, MSc, ACU School of Natural Sciences, Graduates and Research scholars of SACCP, BG Nagara. Mr. Gopinath Rao explained various aspects of Entrepreneurship, various areas of funding and scope of MSME sector as a carrier development. Speaker also explained how government handhold and support budding entrepreneurs financially and also by creating the business ecosystem. The Resource person also provided information on the MSME's handholding support for young entrepreneurs as they launch their businesses and navigate the entrepreneurial path from the beginning stages as well as numerous programmes that would improve the nation's economic situation. Six concepts from ACE that were picked and moulded from Startup Festival were presented and feedback was received; the speaker stressed the next steps that must be done from these ideas, and many more ideas are in the pipeline for incubation. The program was chaired by Dr. Yunis Pasha and Coordinated by Dr. Vedamurthy Joshi.


96 21 CFR Part 11-electronic Records and Electronic Signatures Recent Trends Challenges and Future Prospects in Pharmacovigilance Nanotechnology Approach for New Innovative Formulations in Pharmaceutical Industry Dept. of Pharmaceutical chemistry and Analysis of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy have organised a seminar on “21 CFR part 11-electronic records and electronic signatures’ The resource person was Mr. Sandip Suryabhan Jagtap, Product application specialist, Lab India Analytical Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore on 12th August 2022. All PG attended the seminar and learnt the importance of data integrity. Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organized a one-day seminar on the 21st of September 2022 in association with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and Adichunchanagiri Center for Entrepreneurs (ACE). Dr A R Phani, Managing Director, Nano RAM technologies, delivered a lecture on Nanotechnology Approach for New Innovative Formulations in Pharmaceutical Industry. In his presentation, he elaborated on the importance and applications of nanotechnology in various sectors like Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, etc. Special attention is made to Nano Oral Films and their market applications. Around 80 students of VII B. Pharm, M. Pharm and RS attended for the session. Department of Pharmacy Practice of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, Adichunchanagiri University, Mandya organised, a seminar on 24th September 2022 on the topic ‘Recent Trends Challenges and Future Prospects in Pharmacovigilance’. the Speaker was Dr. Rajiv Siddaraj, Head, Pharmacovigilance Operations, Lotus Pharmaceuticals Co. Ltd, Bangalore. The session dealt with the process of Pharmacovigilance,


97 including data collection, analysis, assessment and signal detections. He had also explained the various challenges and recent trends of P h a r m a c o v i g i l a n c e . Around 150 students of Pharmacy College attended for the session. Career Upskills & Exploring Excellence Evidence Based Medicine Demystifying the Intricate Process of Research Methodologies, Scientific Writing, and Publishing Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and Adichunchanagiri Centre for Entrepreneurs (ACE) of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organized an interactive session on ‘Career upskills and exploring excellence’ on 28th September 2022. The Speaker was Dr. Chakravarthy ES, Vice President and Global RMG head at Tata Consultancy Services, who elaborated and emphasised the digitization in the common people’s lives and their dependency towards the technology and changing landscape of employability. Around 200 students and faculty got benefitted from this workshop. Department of Pharmacy Practice, Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, organised a guest lecture on the Topic ‘Evidence Based Medicine’ by Ms Viji PC and ‘Research implications in Clinical Pharmacy’ by Mr Rashid on 19th October 2022. Department of Pharmacology of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU, has organized "An Interactive Regional Workshop on Demystifying the Intricate Process of Research Methodologies, Scientific Writing, And Publishing” on 15th December 2022. Resource Persons was Dr. G. Jagadeesh, Dr. P. Balakumar, Dr. K Byrappa, Dr. B.N. Srikumar, and Dr. N. Raghavendra Naveen from National and International Universities have delivered their knowledge and skill on the theme of the workshop. 200 candidates participated and benefited.

The resource person was Mr. Sagar MS, QA controlled Docs Coordinator-Regulatory, Labcrop Drug Development, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He explained the Overview of current Pharmaceutical Industry and the significance of Quality Assurance. Department of Pharmacology, of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy, ACU, Organized a guest lecture on the topic “Preclinical and Clinical Studies of Novel Nutraceuticals” on 28th December 2022. The resource person was Dr. Y. S. Suhas, Head- Laboratory animals and Preclinical Services, Vaarunya biolabs Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He explained the importance of OECD guidelines, TGA, IVC cages, OESPP harmonized test guidelines and various aspects of Preclinical and Clinical Research. Sigma Plot 15 as an Educational Tool Department of Pharmaceutics of Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy organized a webinar on Sigma plot 15 as an educational tool on 26th December 2022. Mr. Kiran Bhandary, Technical Associate of InPixon presented the applications and utilization of SigmaPlot 15. In his presentation, he focused on creating different graphs, various types of statistical analysis, the generation of a polynomial equation, and various tools for enzymatic kinetics. Around 40 students, research scholars, and faculties were attended this webinar.
