WHAT?
Sleepsafe is a supported beds
programme run by BCARS
WHEN?
14 October 2019 to 13 April 2020
WHERE?
16 church venues around the
town offering 12 bed spaces per
night.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Rough sleepers in the BCP
region who want to get off the
streets; priority will be given to
the most vulnerable & those who
want the help to stay off the streets.
SLEEPSAFE - HOW DOES IT
WORK?
Sleepsafe is a unique project
giving people time to recover from
being on the streets. It’s more
than the practical provision of a
hot meal, bed and a shower -
support is given through listening.
The team work with each guest to
agree a plan that will, most
importantly, aim to keep them off
the streets.
ANOTHER WAY TO HELP
is through financial support.
We need money to fund Sleepsafe
and YOU can really make a
difference.
For example, £10 pays for
breakfast for 2 people and £25
secures a guest’s stay for one night
at Sleepsafe. £150 covers the staff
costs for the evening and overnight.
