2001 The trade line facility for the company with Bank Negara Indonesia, London (BNI)
was withdrawn due to an unauthorized overdraft of £ 2.4 million. Reviewed the
company‟s business plan and financial compliance and negotiated with BNI to
implement new arrangements and collateral structure. BNI agreed to reinstate the
facility and the company resumed trading.
The company had adopted plans for expansion which were in conflict with those of
the main group. Realigned the management structure and rescheduled a RM 21
million loan. Established long term strategic growth objectives for the shareholders.
