Health & safety. Fire Exits Please become familiar with all fire exits as per the attached evacuation plan. The evacuation routes and emergency numbers are also located behind office doors and on the notice board in the copying centre behind reception. Building Evacuation In case of emergency, an alarm will alert you to evacuate the building. When the fire alarm sounds, leave the building using the nearest available fire escape route. All clients and any visitors must make their way to the ground floor via the stairs (in the hallway by the entrance into Regus) and to the muster point which is to the west of the building when existing through the back entrance. Each and every company must designate an “evacuation manager” in case of emergency. To activate the alarm, push the white bar and pull the handle at the nearest fire alarm call point. Do not take any personal risk Do not attempt to take the lift Do not stop to collect personal belongings Do not attempt to re-enter the building Health & Safety Visitors have a legal responsibility to take care of their own and other people’s health and safety whilst on the premises. All accidents must be reported to a Regus team member and will be reported on an accident report book. The Gulf City administrative and security telephone numbers are (868) 657 9252/ (868) 657 9251/ (868) 657 9489. They should be contacted for any issues occurring, especially after normal business hours. A first aid kit is held in a cabinet clearly labeled with a ‘red cross’ in our copying centre behind reception. We also suggest taking a basic first aid course and ensure your certificate is always kept refreshed and updated. Our team was trained by Carisafe Medical Services Limited. Phone applications are also available to provide basic guidance in the event of an emergency. App suggestions include Red Cross and St. John’s Ambulance (SJA). The link for SJA is: https://www.sja.org.uk/get-advice/free-first-aid-app/ We wish to stress that as much as security is present in the building 24/7, clients that choose to work after normal working hours do so at their own responsibility. Security Packages, briefcases, etc., must not be left unattended. Smoking Smoking is prohibited indoors as per local law. There are designated smoking areas to the front of the building. 16
