Hi All,
And so we begin to warm up again to summer ... please ensure that you are taking enough
vitamins as this is the time of year where the colds tend to be at it's worst !!
We are also in the last quarter of 2017 ... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT !!
Please make sure that you are working at 110% as we are going into annual reviews and we
want to finish 2017 on a high note.
Please keep 2017-09-29 from 12:00 open for our last social for 2017.

Finance & HR

September has Arrived and there is only 4months left off the Year.
Kelly is updated with the Injury on Duty Procedure and by now your Managers would have
discussed the Procedure with you!
Alicia is our Safety Officer for The Company. If there is anything that you feel you need to
report, please do so by email to Alicia.
We will soon be starting with the Training Sessions and Fire Drills.
Finance had a Lot of Fun with the Talents Show and they took the 2nd Price! Well done Guys!!

Bianca Verheyen has let us for a marketing position closer to home. We wish Bianca well in her
new career.

Debtors

As usually the Debtors department were so busy, August just flew by and we can now welcome
Spring with a smile.

Current news in Debtors:
A bright & shining Gospel Star was discovered with Lydia taking 3rd place in the Talent show
(congratulations to Tiaan who won).
Jolene turned *30*and was not pleasently surprised by her first grey hair.

Sam took over a couple of tasks from Reinette and are excited about the new challenge.
1 September is casual day and Debtors’s theme will be different Counties to reflect diversity.
Thank you for the great effort ladies, you all looked amazing!

In other news:

• Sales recruited .. new clients in the month of August.
• The Cape Town branch gained a Sales Consultant, Nadine. May she have many

happy and rewarding years with ERS.
• Support got their uniforms and they are rocking it. ‘How you look, influences how you

feel & how you feel influences how you act and what you do.’
• We are excited to see what the new season holds in store for us.
Remember that the seeds you plant today yelds the flowers you pluck in the future.

Implementation News Station

The Implementation Department is like riding a roller-coaster, up and down in terms of being
extremely busy. We were fortunate to Improve ourselves by attending a mind-blowing course
called, Design and Development. This course we learned all the fundamentals in designing and
developing learning material according to a unit standard which consist of:

 Learner Guide
 Facilitator’s Guide
 Assessor’s Guide
 Moderator’s Guide
 Evaluation
 Presentational Material (E.g. Portfolio of Evidence)

This will enable us to improve our service not just as a department, but as a company.
We had a quiet month with regards to the signing off of implementation clients, but we are
exploring different way on our we can improve our closure rate. I want to thank our team for the
coming together as a team like we never experienced before.

Support

Spring time! Support has uniforms and looking great.
Take a step back to look at the new life growing and the fresh breeze of hay fever coming your
way. Oh Spring time!
With the new month, Support would like to work on improving system knowledge. They say it is
power after all. The better the knowledge, the better the service.
Cape Town, we are trading you. You take the wind and we will take the Bookings. With good
team work I’m sure that the handover will go smooth.
Armandt will be going to Cape town for 2 weeks to assist with training. We wish you safe travels
and good luck.
We are doing a live streaming session to Cape Town on the week of the 11th while Armandt is
there and we are looking forward to it.

Remote Brunches

Just 4 months to go till December!
Thank you to Delme for visiting the Cape Town branch, it was as always a very pleasant visit.
Nitesh, we really hope that you had an awesome birthday on the 27th July, and that you were
spoiled and many more to come!
Mandela Day was a lot of fun, thank you to Management for allowing us to make a difference on
this special day! We had the opportunity to put a lot of smiles on little kids faces @ Tiekelieks
Daycare in Kraaifontein. Repairs were done on the building as well as on the Jungle Gym! It
was a lot of fun!
We just would like to welcome Nadine Ferreira, which will start on the 7th of August as our new
Sales Consultant to the Cape Town Branch. Wishes you many successful sales ahead!
Since last week the Sales in Cape Town Finally started to come in. We still have one or two
signed Quotes that we are awaiting the Final Documents and we hoped to get that in before the
end of July but we didn’t succeed. At least we will start August better.
@Remote Branch staff, thank you for doing your best always! Very proud of our Team!

Technical & Logistics

The month of July had a few busy moments with some large access control installation
happening.
There were more Time and Attendance installations than the previous month and this was a
good sign.
The technicians were busy enough to keep their noses clean and the work was appreciated.
Once again, we received great reviews from more clients, the Oprah Winfrey Leadership
Academy Foundation as well as Community Monitoring Services (Pty) Ltd.
The logistics team have been pulling their weight and the prepping has been going smoothly.
Both the logistics and technical departments did an awesome job in completing the showroom
and all it's looking fantastic.

Research & Development

The new development release is in its final stage and will be ready to hand over for testing soon
The release is scheduled for mid-November
We have appointed a Q and A tester that will start in October, he will assist with testing and
setting up test procedures and test cases
