March 2022 | Monthly Newsletter
From the Pastor
Spring is coming!! March is lining up to be another Godmazing month. People are coming back
to church and the Holy Spirit is moving amongst us. Thank you so much to every one for your
support and your dedication to furthering the Kingdom of Heaven. I have enjoyed the series we
have begun at the 8:30 am service, as we are trying to get through the Bible in a year. It is truly
moving our people.
This month we will be wrapping up our Crazy Faith series at the 11:00 am service and What
If at the 6:30 pm service. JJ Weeks will be in concert Saturday, March 12 starting at 6:30 pm
with our very on Loren Day opening for him. Our church is full of talented people.
As our family continues to grow and the Baptistery waters
continue to stir, may we look to our Father in Heaven for
guidance deliverance and mercy. We continue to pray for our
ONEs in the envelope – we continue to pry for our church and
the direction God would have us go, we pray for our families
and our brothers and sisters across the world. We pray for
peace and understanding. We pray for mercy and forgiveness.
We pray for LOVE! In Jesus name-Amen!
God Is Good All The Time!!!
I love you but God loves you more!!!
Love,
† Pastor Sammy

these calamities be overpast.
With all the tragic news about Ukraine being invaded by Russia our minds and hearts are full of
prayers for the people in Ukraine. God’s mercy is so needed by all the mothers, fathers,
grandparents, aunts and uncles and children there. Thinking of the people there in these terms
makes them more real to us. What a nightmare that is happening right before their eyes. As bad
as it seems to us seeing it on television, it is nothing compared to those who are living and
dying there. May God have mercy on them. May those in power, who make decisions, act with
His guidance in a way to end this war.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF MEBANE YOUTH MINISTRY
Y’all God is so GOOD!! We spent Super Bowl weekend with over 500 students in Alamance
County worshiping and learning about Jesus. We took 61 students and leaders from our church.
Students spent time learning in large group and sharing in small groups. I want to personally
thank some people for their dedication to our youth.
First I would like to thank our church and those who give so we
can give our students opportunities like this to grow in their
faith. I would also like to thank John and Karen Fladeland for
donating Subway boxes to our students. Thank you to Haley
and Shane Jones for organizing our Saturday lunch. We
couldn’t do it without you.
And finally I want to thank our youth leaders and host homes
for the weekend. Donald McGinnis, Shannon McGinnis,
Sammy Ballard, Emily Keck, Meredith Barger, Mandi Ballard,
Lindsay Stephenson, Geri St. Pierre, Kayleigh Petty, Kirsten Smith, Loren Sessoms, Brice
Sessoms , Louis Sullivan , Aris Smuzynski.
I could not have done it without the help of these amazing people. And finally I want to give all
glory and honor to God. He has blessed us more than I can ever imagine.
Again I just say thank you,
† Pastor Maddi

Hello church family!
We're excited for March to come in with the change
of seasons and we all know that means Easter is right
around the corner. Our musical for the
traditional service will be on Palm Sunday, April
10th. The choir will also be enhancing the Praise &
Worship service at 11:00 on Easter Sunday, similar
to what we did at the Hanging of the Greens.
It was wonderful seeing all the music programs
together on the stage for a grand sound fitting for our
celebration of the stone rolling away!
Looking forward to worshipping with you!
† Chris Conley, Traditional Music Director

Dear Koinonia Sunday School Class,
Thank you for the love offering you sent to me. It was very much
appreciated.
Love in Christ,
Lottie Robertson
April 2, 2022 will mark our 41st Operation Inasmuch at FBC Mebane!
Thank you for serving our Lord by serving others with many acts of
kindness over the years. Matthew 25:40 is our Inasmuch focal passage of Scripture as Jesus said
"....Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto
me."
Some of our projects seem small or insignificant while others seem large or overwhelming, but
each one is an opportunity to share the love of Christ with those we serve. It's not so much the
project itself, but the people we do them for is at the heart of Operation Inasmuch. Prayer,
Visitation, Administrative, Giving and Going are all important as we continue to reach people
beyond our church walls. God is good! May you be blessed beyond measure as you love others
in the name of Jesus. Lunch will be provided.
SIGN UP SHEETS ARE ON THE TABLE IN THE WELCOME CENTER ALONG WITH A
BOX TO DROP IN THE COMPLETED FORMS.
YOU CAN ALSO SEND AN E-MAIL TO DAVID FAIRCLOTH ([email protected]) or
call/text 919-605-4437
If you need more information on projects or Operation Inasmuch in general, David can also
help with this as well.

Manna Market Food Drive
For February we had 14 clients served, up a little but I’m still puzzled at the
turnouts, with food at all time highs. I expected numbers to climb, but so far
not much. Stocks are fine on some canned goods but others are quite low.
And cereal stocks are low. I’m be giving Ronda lists of needed items periodically as needs
change. We deeply appreciate the donations we receive and all the Volunteers who help us
each month, they are our lifeblood.
The needs for now are:
We are very low on Ramen Noodles, we are also low on Cereal, Pancake Syrup, Canned
Chicken, Canned Tuna, Corn Bread Mix, Peanut Butter, Jams & Jellies. We also need Canned
Fruit, Grits, and Spaghetti Noodles.
Thank you all for your continuing support!!
