75th Annual General Meeting 99 2022 Annual Report MISS CHERYL HAWKINS Miss Cheryl Hawkins is the Director of Planning and Administrative Services in the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service (MOF&PS). Cheryl has been a member of the Credit Union since 2000 and has served as a member of the Credit Committee during the period June 2015 to June 2021. Miss Hawkins holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies. She also holds a certificate in Project Management and has been exposed to various training in Risk Management. MISS PAULA L. BROWN Miss Paula L. Brown is the Transformation Lead in the Island Traffic Authority. She has been a member of the Credit Union since 2005. Ms. Brown is committed to public service and her core interests are in government innovations, public administration, public policy, and planning, particularly for developing countries. She earned a BSc. from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica with a dual concentration in International Relations and Psychology as well as an MSc. in Social Research Methods and Statistics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. In 2016, she earned her Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, USA. CREDIT COMMITTEE MS. ANGELINA BROWN Miss Angelina Brown is currently employed to the National Works Agency and has been a member of the Credit Union since 1996. She currently serves on the Supervisory Committee. Miss Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Technology. She is a mother of two and enjoys watching a good movie in her spare time. WAYNE WALTON Mr Wayne Walton is currently the Project Surveyor at the National Works Agency, and has been a member of the Credit Union since 1984. He has been a volunteer for over 2 years. He is currently serving as a member of the Credit Committee. He is married and a past student of College of Arts Science and Technology now UTECH. He holds a Diploma in Land Surveying. Mr Walton’s hobbies are gardening and travelling, while playing cricket in his spare time. MISS PAULA HAMILTON Ms. Paula Hamilton has been employed in the Public Service for over twenty-four (24) years and currently serves as a Performance Monitoring Officer in the Ministry of Science, Telecommunication, Energy and Transport (MSTET) A Graduate of the Convent of Mercy Academy (Alpha), she holds a BSc. in Business Administration from the University of Technology with a major in Production and Operations Management and a minor in Marketing. Her core competencies include Financial Management, Budgeting, Risk Management, Strategic Management and Planning and Performance Monitoring. Ms. Hamilton’s many services include assignment as a Member of the MSTET Committee and the Social Welfare Committee. SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE MRS. ALTHEA COLE-MARTIN Mrs. Althea Cole-Martin is an Administrative Assistant to the Manager of Communication & Customer Services at the National Works Agency. She has been a member of the Credit Union since 2000. Mrs. Cole-Martin is a current member of the Supervisory Committee. She is the National Public Relations Officer for the Jamaica Association of Administrative Professionals. MISS SAKINA TOBIAS Miss Sakina Tobias is currently employed to the National Works Agency as a Senior Finance Officer. She has been a member of the Credit Union since 2001 and has been serving on the Scholarship Committee for six years. Miss. Tobias holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Information Systems) from the University of Technology and an Associate Degree from EXED Community College. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies & Human Resource Management. She has been employed to the National Works Agency from 2001 and currently holds the position of Personnel and Industrial Relations Officer. MISS NADINE GORDON Miss Nadine Gordon is currently employed at the Ministry of Science, Telecommunication, Energy and Transport (MSTET). She has over 22 years of experience in the field of Human Resources administration as well as Industrial Relations. She is the holder of a MSc. Degree in Human Resource Development from the University of the West Indies. She is a member of PWDCCU for over 23 years and has served on the Supervisory Committee for several years. Miss Gordon is a dedicated mother of two and her hobbies are reading and dancing. . MRS. SHANINE STEPHENSON-PAGON Mrs. Shanine Stephenson-Pagon is currently employed as an Auditor in the Ministry of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport (MSTET). Mrs. Stephenson-Pagon is a past student of Wolmers Trust High School for Girls. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, reading and listening to music.
