So Mom 3pprc>3checj me two months 390 3bout wHtin9 someth 109 to 90
on yo u r yeaf^ook page. 1thought "why not?" an4 agree4 to rt.
Two 4ays before deadline, I'm sitting here struggling with what to say-
1guess the custom afy "you are the light o f o u r lives" m ight w ork...
And there's always the "we're so proud o f you" route.
w h o could ever forgetthe classic "you're so special and we kno w yo u 'll go
on to do great things," shtick.
But let's face it, you already knew all that.
That's what makes you great, Q itlin .
And you certainly don't need us bothering you about it.
Ever confident, unendingly witty .. .you never cease to amaze us by putting
this fam ily in its place when we get to acting to o goofy for yo ur tastes. N ot
to mention that you're the best sister a guy like me could ever ask for, I
think I speak for all o f us when I say;

"You are the light o f out lives, and we cannot wait to see you go on anddo

undoubtedly great things."
A nd did 1m ention how proud we are
Congratulations, Cait.
Love,
Your goofy fam ily

DEDICATION TO MY DAUGHTER
Kelli

It seems just like yesterday when you came home from the hospital.
The times have changed over the years as you have matured
You have grown up to be Kelli,
A Lady with many Faces.
A Peacemaker, A Loving Daughter, A Friend o f mine!

When I held you in my arms for the very first time,
I thought I could never love you more. . . .
but then you grew.

In those precious baby times—through your first smile,
your first tooth, your first steps,

I thought I could never love you more. . .
but then you grew.

And in those sweet toddler times—the endless days o f curiosity
and adventures and discoveries,

I thought I could never love you more. .
but then you grew.

And in those wonderful little girl times—those days o f hurt knees and hurt feelings,
of making friends and taking in the world around you,
I thought I could never love you more. . .
but then you grew.

And in those lovely young woman times—those times o f moods
and mysteries, and joys and heartaches,
I thought I could never love you more. . .
but again, you grew.

And still, always, day by day,
you keep growing. . .

more and more beautiful. . .
nearer and dearer to my heart.

Love,
Dad
