rays, angles, endpoints, vertices,
parallel, intersecting and perpendicular lines.
SOL 4.11 – identify, compare and contrast plane and solid
figures according to their number of
angles, vertices, edges and the number of faces.
Remediation
Each week we will be reviewing past math strategies that
will assist your child with strengthening their math perfor-

Practice is the key!!! The more these strategies are used,
the easier they become.
21st Century After School Program
Every teacher is committed to the academic, social and emo-
tional success of our students. To have our students soar be-
yond expectations, we have a free 21st Century after-school
tutorial program that takes place every Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:20 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Bus
transportation and nutritional snacks are provided at no cost to the families.
If you child is not participating and would like to participate, please contact Mr.
Dexter Warren, Assistant Principal at 757-569-8111. Students that attend 21st
Century are growing academically and we feel confident that the extended
learning opportunities offered by the 4th grade team will make a difference in
the classroom and on the SOL assessments. If you have any questions, or
