TIEMPO DE FIESTA
LOS CABO’S NIGHT SCENE

After catching an amazing sunset
melting into the Paci c Ocean,
Cabo San Lucas and San Jose
del Cabo light up-ready for a
good time, any night of the
week. You'll nd sultry dance
clubs and casual bars, DJs and
live music, and an eclectic
mix of music featuring Latin
rhythms, hip-hop, jazz,
electronica, salsa and rock.
You name it, Los Cabos
has it! It's no wonder this is
considered the nightlife capital
of southern Baja.

Generally speaking, Cabo San
Lucas has the bigger reputation
for over-the-top nightlife with
most of the action centered
around Marina Boulevard near
the main marina. Pulsating clubs
like Mandala and Pink Lady feature
the latest beats from hip-hop to
techno and everything in between.
Several venues o er live music showcasing
old-fashioned, good-time rock n' roll like
the Cabo Wabo Cantina (founded by
former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar).
The Purple VIP Rooftop Lounge at Breathless
Resort is one of the hippest, new o erings on
the scene, with daytime pool parties and nightly
party passes.

San Jose del Cabo is much more low-key. It's
more about a good drink and conversation as
opposed to the dusk-to-dawn all-nighters in
Cabo. But don't worry, it has its wild side as well.
Check out Boulevard Mijares in the historic district
for several nighttime entertainment spots.

GOLFER’S PARADISE

In addition to being home to fantastic vacation weather, incredible beaches, a warm
hospitable people and exciting adventures, Los Cabos is fast becoming a golfer's paradise.
With over fifteen 18-hole professional courses already available and several more under
construction or on the drawing board, golf fanatics vacationing in Baja California Sur can
challenge themselves to a different round of golf every day of their holiday.
The views from the courses are spectacular. At any given moment you're playing through
oasis-like fairways and greens nestled between desert mountain cliffs and the Sea of
Cortez. At some courses, snacks and beverages are included - where an order of tacos
and a shot of tequila may or may not help straighten out your slice! And if you're lucky,
one of your tee shots will be framed by the back drop of a breaching whale splashing
into the sea in the distance.

A PASSION FOR FOOD
DINING IN LOS CABOS

Are you thinking that
the only choices you
have are your hotel's
bu ets and the American
fast food restaurants in
popular vacation resorts?
Think again! The Los Cabos
area is bursting with restaurants
ranging from award-winning
gourmet eateries to local
favorites - and everything in
between. As a coastal destination,
restaurants in this vacation
paradise are bursting with options
of fresh seafood, with the catch of
the day grilled over a mesquite
wood re the most locally inspired
seafood dish.

San Jose del Cabo has recently
emerged as "the place to be" if you're
looking for an eclectic list of culinary
options. De nitely more laid-back than its
more party-oriented sister Cabo San
Lucas, San Jose's relaxed atmosphere
o ers a variety of venues to enjoy a fabulous
meal. Several spots are sprinkled throughout
the Historic District, others have taken up
residence in restored haciendas and most all
take advantage of the incredible Cabo
weather, o ering meals outdoors on colorful
patios and street-side tables.

One of the best experiences of traveling is
enjoying a destination's favorite restaurants
and local cuisine. So get out there!
