GUA SAMI ONE OF THE BEST PLACE IN Perlis
INTRODUCTION Gua Cenderawasih, also known as Gua Sami, is a cave situated in Perlis, Malaysia. This cave is a popular destination for rock climbers and hikers due to its stunning scenery and challenging terrain. The hiking trail to Gua Cenderawasih was oficially opened on March 14, 1998, by the former Minister of Perlis, Dato' Seri Dr. Shahidan Kassim. It is part of the Gua Cenderawasih Recreation Area, which offers a variety of outdoor activities. Nearby, there is also Bukit Cenderawasih, a recreational area developed by the Perlis State Government and the Kangar Municipal Council.

HIKING Bukit Cenderawasih, also known as Gua Sami or Bukit Lagi is a hiking destination in Perlis Malaysia. It is named after the bird-of-paradise (cenderawasih) that used to inhabit the area and the monk (sami) who used to meditate in the caves. The caves are still visible and can be explored by visitors A high viewpoint area makes your photo looks more interesting and “instagrammable”A high viewpoint area is a place where you can take a photo from a higher elevation than your subject or the surrounding landscape. At the base level of bukit sami there is a nearby public park that you can use to excercise or bring your kids to enjoy the park. There is also nearby foodtruck to buy drinks and snacks because at the peak of the mountain there is absolutely nothing to quench your thirst. Try to drink enough water before you hike but not so much that you might feel like puking during the hike. Bukit Cenderawasih is a limestone hill in the state of Perlis, Malaysia. It is also known as Taman Bunga Kertas Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen, which means Paper Flower Park of Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen. The hill offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, which consists of rice fields, lakes, and other limestone hills. The hill can be accessed by hiking from either Gua Cenderawasih or behind Hotel Seri Malaysia, which are both nearby attractions. The hike takes about 20 minutes to reach the top and 15 minutes to go down. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the sight of colorful bougainvillea flowers and various wildlife, such as monkeys and birds.
