“Vision is the art of seeing
what is invisible to others.”
CMS, KANPUR ROAD PRINCIPAL’S ADDRESS
SESSION- 2021-22
Together we will script a new era of hope and empowerment
The obstacles of our past can become the gateway that leads to a new beginning.
As we surge ahead undaunted, propelled by the divine inspiration and courage bestowed
upon us by the Almighty, we gather new experiences which enrich our lives. These
experiences not only live in our memories but also provide us enlightenment for the
years to come. Life is a kaleidoscopic journey of experiences and our tumultuous tryst
with the upheaval unleashed by the pandemic. It has been a watershed phase in our lives.
It has been a test of our fortitude and resilience, our faith and spirituality.
Our students once again made us proud by performing exceedingly well in ISC & ICSE
examination (2020-21) and the results were stupendous. In ISC, amongst 423 students
enrolled, 14 students secured 99.75% marks, 346 students secured 90%marks and above.
In ICSE, amongst 523 students enrolled, 3 students secured 98.4% marks, 377 students
secured 90%marks and above. Many students were selected for various courses in
Premier Educational Institutions around the world and in our country.
With the reopening of the school, life, vibrancy and joy have returned to our campus after almost five months.
During the inclement times of the second wave of the pandemic, our teachers strove assiduously to provide
the best virtual teaching experience to our students.
I am happy to note that we at CMS have successfully turned this calamitous adversity into an opportunity and
emerged victorious. We have taken the lead in conducting Online-Classes , PTM’S, Orientation sessions,
International youth day celebrations , Co-curricular activities and programmes including tests, assessments,
counselling and distressing sessions, etc. with active participation of our students who have emerged as winners too.
Our students emerged as winners in various online academic, co-curricular and sports competitions.
It was a moment of pride and honour for the branch when our Environment Coordinator Dr.(Mrs.)Shiksha Tripathi
was felicitated amongst the selected teachers across India on the occasion of Teachers Day by Wipro Earthian
and Centre for Environment Education(CEE) .She also received National Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar Award 2021
and Mrs.Savita Mall a CENTA achiever, whose presentation was selected among the Top 10 presentation for the
Innovative Teachers Award 2020-21 organised by City International School .
Recipient of Innovative Teachers Award, Conducted CENTA live webinar & Empanelled for conducting
Master class at CENTA.
Vision -2025 encompassing new aspirations, high goals and the missionary zeal to excel was the spirit which marked
the beginning of the session 2021-22.
Dear parents, I am indebted to you: you reposed your faith in us and our sincere endeavours in conducting offline
examinations this year and sent your wards and that paid off.
We have to raise the bar with Vision 2025: a CMS initiative to revamp our education system in view of the changed
global scenario. We are committed to providing our youngsters the best of experiential and integrated learning
along with the latest pedagogical methodologies so that they can be fully equipped to surmount future challenges
and are empowered in letter and spirit.
We have implemented Vision 2025 through activities aimed at fostering our students’ critical thinking, problem
solving and conflict resolution skills, et al besides exploring their amazing creativity. Let us celebrate this beautiful
expression of ideas: this is true emancipation: let us heed the innovative thoughts and ideas of our youngsters, after
all, they are going to be the architects of a sustainable future. Change is the only constant in the world.
We are observing all COVID protocols and nothing is more important for us than the health and safety of our children.
I wish to reiterate that in these difficult times, the school is with you. The renovated state -of- the -art library,
computer room, lobby and laboratories and the new building coming up - all these and other infrastructural
developments are for you and our most beloved children. We want to give them the most life- enriching education
in the most conducive atmosphere .I pray to the Almighty to bless us all so that we can serve the cause of education
in a world free from the scourge of the pandemic.
Dear parents we look forward to your priceless cooperation and whole hearted support in all our endeavours.
I would like to express my gratitude to the CMS management for guiding us so well through this crisis.
CITY MONTESSORI SCHOOL has been a lodestar in the firmament of education and will always be.
Thanks
