As every year this year also Daffodils English School Association celebrated Republic Day with great
joy and patriotism. It’s a day of national rejoicing in our country.

Adhering to the norms of the present situation, a virtual program was
hosted by the students of both Daffodils English School and Daffodils
Foundation for Learning.

In keeping up with the school’s unique tradition of choosing the Chief
Guest and Guest of Honour from the academic toppers from Grades 6-10, Master Saptam of DFL and
Miss Adhya Uday of DES were chosen to do the honour of hoisting of the tricolour. The program
continued with virtual presentations by students.

Mythri Shankar the head girl of DFL gave the welcome speech. Students of DFL sang a beautiful
patriotic song followed by a graceful dance performance by the students of DES. The meritorious
backgrounds of the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were shared by their teachers Ms Sunitha Girish
from DFL and Ms. Sangeetha from DES. Saptam addressed the gathering with his inspiring speech.
Adhya the guest of honour expressed her gratitude to her parents, teachers and school for her present
honour. There was an admirable dance drama performance by the students of DFL depicting the glory
