Dear Domuschola Community, What an amazing week we just had! The Domuschola Drama Club enchanted and made the school community laugh as they featured Shakespeare's famous comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mainly acted by the Secondary School members of the club, the show couldn't have been performed better. The students were really in character and the 3rd floor foyer was filled with laughter as they dropped funny lines and scenes one after another. What better way to culminate the school year than to celebrate the many talents of our students. Another highlight of the week was the Student Council elections. The candidates presented themselves to the student body last week through speeches and the sharing of their plans for next school year. Elections were held last Monday. I would like to congratulate the newly elected Student Council Officers for SY 2023-24. We trust that they will lead the student body with a strong positive voice to make student life fun, safe, and meaningful. We shall continue to give them varied opportunities to exercise and hone their leadership skills and with the support from the parents and the entire school community, we see a bright and exciting school year ahead. * Class Reps will be elected by the classes at the beginning of the School Year As we approach the end of an exceptional academic year, I want to take a moment to look back on our shared journey and express my sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you. This year was not without challenges, but we have worked together as partners to hurdle each one that came our way. We have shown perseverance, flexibility, and an unrelenting dedication to growth and learning. I would like to wish everyone an enjoyable summer break. Please take the time to rest and recharge. As all of us had a busy year, it is important to now think of ourselves, engage in recreational activities, and spend time with family and friends. Remember your accomplishments, celebrate your growth and development, and return to school in August with renewed vigor and passion. Have a wonderful summer ahead! The long-awaited summer special of the Drama Club was finally presented last Wednesday, 24th of May on the 3rd Floor Foyer of Domuschola International School. The floor was transformed into an enchanting forest filled with laughter and mystique, as the Secondary School students played the main characters of Shakespeare’s, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The Secondary students really made the community proud with their talented performances. Of course, not without the support of the Primary students who played the role of the fairies, and the all-important, Puck, the sprite who was the root of all the mischief and fun in the story. As a story about love, the play wooed the audience with the humor of their lines and the grace of their acting. With all the five pairs of lovers being challenged and eventually paired back together as Puck made “amends,” the play was the definition of the Secondary School year; full of fun, challenges, and love.
