Opening Prayer

† Opening Hymn Great Is Thy Faithfulness UMH 140

Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father; there is no shadow of turning with thee;

thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not; as thou has been, thou forever wilt be.

[refrain]
Great is they faithfulness! Great is they faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see;

all I have needed thy hand hath provided; great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!

Summer and winter and spring time and harvest, sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. [refrain]

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! [refrain]

† Call to Worship

Have you not known?
Our God is the everlasting God, Creator of the ends of the earth.

Have you not heard?
God does not faint or grow weary.

Have you not known?
God’s understanding is unsearchable.

Have you not heard?
God gives power to the faint and strengthens the powerless.

Have you not known?
Those who wait for God will renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles.

We come to hear, proclaim and sing…
God is the everlasting God!

Song Everlasting God

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord. (repeat)

Our God, you reign forever, our Hope, our strong Deliverer.

You are the everlasting God, the everlasting God. You do not faint, you won’t grow weary.
You’re the defender of the weak; you comfort those in need; you lift us up on wings like eagles.

Hymn Lead Me, Guide Me (vv. 1 and 3)

[refrain]Lead me, guide me, along the way, for if you lead me, I cannot stray.
Lord, let me walk each day with thee. Lead me, O Lord, lead me.

I am weak and I need thy strength and power to help me over my weakest hour.
Help me through the darkness thy face to see, Lead me, O Lord, lead me. [refrain]

I am lost if you take your hand from me, I am blind without thy Light to see,
Lord, just always let me they servant be. Lead me, O Lord, lead me.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

We Are Scattered to Serve God In Our World

† Closing Hymn You Are Mine

I will come to you in the silence, I will lift you from all your fear.

You will hear my voice, I claim you as my choice, be still and know I am here. [refrain]

[refrain]Do not be afraid, I am with you. I have called you each by name.
Come and follow me, I will bring you home; I love you and you are mine.

I am hope for all who are hopeless, I am eyes for all who long to see.
In the shadows of the night, I will be your light, come and rest in me. [refrain[

I am strength for all the despairing, healing for the ones who dwell in shame.
All the blind will see, the lame will all run free, and all will know my name. [refrain]

I am the Word that leads all to freedom, I am the peace the world cannot give.
I will call your name, embracing all your pain, stand up, now walk, and live! [refrain]
