Dear Readers
“Selamat Tahun Baru 2016” = “Happy New Year 2016”
I would like to first wish everyone a very happy new year 2016 and welcome you to our first Newsletter of 2016 prepared by SMC Indonesia.
We also wish to take this opportunity to share information from individual country among SAMVIP in the region to know each other better.
In this edition, we are pleased to introduce some interesting and wonderful places in Indonesia such as:

1. Kawah Putih (English: White Crater)
This is a striking crater lake and tourist spot in a volcanic crater about 50 km south of Bandung in West Java in Indonesia.

2. Raja Ampat (English: Four Kings)
A place for underwater enthusiasts as it offers the world’s best marine sights, around 75% of the world's species live here and surrounded with many islands
with crystal clear water and white sandy beaches.

3. Green Canyon
A natural wonder place with spectacular scene, you will never find anywhere else. It is “A piece of heaven on earth”, a true Natural Wonder hides behind
the thick bushes and trees of the forests. If you have never heard about this place, it is only because Green Canyon is the best kept Secret of heaven on
earth.

4. Bunaken Island
Bunaken is located at the northern tip of the island of Sulawesi, It has a high diversity of - corals, fishes and many species of giant clams found in Bunaken. It
also claims to have seven times more genera of coral than Hawaii and has more than 70% of all the known fish species of the Indo-Western Pacific.
Next, on the topic of Meaning and History of flag, we would like to share the knowledge of SAMVIP’s flag with the story of history and independence of each
country.
In addition, we also add on with some happy moments on non-working activity such as new born baby, wedding & graduation from staffs…etc.

As you may know, SMC Indonesia is a young company among SMC group who has started up the operation in 3 years ago and actual
sales activity is less than 2 years, many of our staffs are new and still learning to acquire with right knowledges and skills to support
sales operation and other related fields.
Looking back of our operation, a lot of improvements have been made progressively in many aspects such as recruitment of staffs,
cooperation with distributor, setup user and price management, stock and delivery improvement, regular stock forecast and
established freight forwarders to ensure prompt delivery, sales force and branches expansion to provide better coverage in the
market and reach out to customers, carry out area exhibition and seminar to create awareness in the market, at the same time
provide training to new sales engineers, conduct training and air audit program at customer’s place to create sales opportunity,
none of these accomplishments would be possible without the hard work from all the staffs.
We would be pleased to receive any suggestion and feedback that could assist us to improve our Newsletter in future edition.
Lastly, on behave of the SMC Indonesia, we would like to express our thanks to the committee and SAMVIP group who have
