Change is the foundation for survival during turbulent times. In
my tenure as CEO at Southeast Health Group, our adaptations to
the evolution of the health care industry have been dramatic. This
past year, we established an entirely new service line—physical
therapy—and increased the number of people we served in nearly
every area of the organization, from crisis calls to substance use
disorder treatment. Access to mental health services rose in every Becky N. Otteman,
single age group from preschoolers to seniors. I credit our success CEO

to the board of directors and staff for their ability to pivot, based on the needs we
identify in our local communities. While we pause to review the year that has
passed, we look for new opportunities in the inevitable changes that lie ahead.
