Working at the State Capitol

David Rogers, Tax Manager-San Antonio, spent time at the Texas State
Capitol in Austin recently, testifying in the Senate and House in support
of legislation that would benefit heavy equipment dealers. House Bill
1346 and Senate Bill 711 would have changed current legislation to
better support dealers. David's testimony was well received by members
of the committees and the house bill passed easily. Senate Bill 711,
however, was opposed and did not pass.

The Texas Caterpillar dealers' lobby team is working with the bill's
authors to find an acceptable solution. Thanks to David for his
