PARENT
RESPONSIBILITIES

Competitive dance requires a positive atmosphere from all involved. Cooperation
between parents is expected at all times. Please show respect for our teaching
staff, the other parents, and all of our dancers, as well as, our competitors. A
positive and enthusiastic outlook extends to your child. Negative comments and
feedback can be harmful to the progress and education of our students, and will not

be tolerated
Parents must support all competitive dan
cers and make sure their kids support each other.
We do not condone unhealthy rivalry between o
ur own dancers or jealousy amongst our parents.

Competitive parents are also expected to set an example for other parents just as
competitive dancers set the example for other dancers.

For our younger dancers, parents should encourage and remind dancers to practice at home
regularly and extra whenever necessary.

Parents must learn to trust us as the dance professionals with ALL things dance just as
you trust your doctor with all things medical.

Parents are NEVER to contact a competition directly unless the director has given specific
instructions to do so. All necessary communication happens studio owner to competition.

Be kind and say positive things to ALL DANCERS FROM ALL STUDIOS at competition. It
makes a huge difference to any kid.

*No “DANCE MOMS” allowed. Constant complaining or negativity towards the studio or it’s
instructors will get your child removed from the program.

If there is a misunderstanding and feelings are hurt between your student and an instructor,
go immediately to that instructor to talk it out. DO NOT discuss with other parents. There’s never

any need for confrontation, just a positive resolution.
Please be aware that a price increase to dance fees will be assessed minimum twice a year, and
understand Mizzy is trying to keep dance fees as cheap as she can for you and your dancer.

PARENT
RESPONSIBILITIES

No Gossiping
Payments are to be paid on time of there will be a late payment fee. (This
rule will be put in actions the week after these documents are handed in)
Please respect that if you contact Mizzy you may not get an immediate

response; however, she will do her best to respond asap.
Parents need to understand the cost of everything these days are increasing
by the minute, so unfortunately to continue your child’s tuition fees may need
to increase due to hall increases. Unfortunately, this is something that can’t be

avoided, however if there are issues with payments please contact as the
parent Mizzy directly, and she will do her very best to help you, so your child

can continue doing what they’re amazing at!
Parents are to respect all rules of the dance school.
Dance Fees, Uniforms, Costume Fees, Competition Fees, Ticket Fees etc. are
NON-REFUNDABLE. (If Competitions or shows are cancelled WE will do our

best to have fees returned. )
( Please also make sure that you measure your dancer properly for uniform
and order the correct size as you will have to pay again if you wish to have a

bigger size no exchange is accepted by the dance school or our uniform
manufacturers

Finally any slander of any kind made by a parent or student towards Moniecha,
the students, the school, or any other visiting choreographer will result in an
immediate suspension from the school. Any information regarding competitions,
events, bag packs etc will be sent to you in do course as it is recived by
Moniecha. Any rude or disresepctful attiude could lead to your child being
removed from the whole school .

ATTENDANCE AND
PAYMENTS

Your child will be given a weekly fee. (Please Find Fee At The Start Of The Pack) This
Fee is to be paid regardless whether or not your child attends.

If your child misses the whole week due to an illness you are not obligated to pay
however if they miss ONE out of the two weekly sessions due to illness, but they
return for the other sessions the weekly fee applies. *The weekly fees won’t apply if
your child has a doctor note or misses the whole week* We ask if your dancer has any
holidays or dates where they will not be of an attendance to the competition team,
that you inform reception, and have the dates put in the diary. Any dates that are
logged into the calendar two week or more prior to the date of absence, your child will
not need to pay for their class. If we are informed under the two week deadline
unforuntatly class will be needed to be paid regardless. If you have a verbal or text
conversation with Mizzy out of courtesy that's great, but please ensure reception
knows so it is logged in the diary. If you pay monthly for class you must collect a next
payment date from reception which will inform you the next date you must pay for

the month again. If late a late payment fee will be charged .
Due to the last few years being all over the place due to covid and having to constantly
chase payments , as of the 16/07/2022 we will be implementing late payment fees.
The deadline for dance fees will be by 8pm every Saturday or a charge of £20 will be

added to the original fees and chased the following week.
We want to make sure our dance grow with the most up right conduct and lateness
the last few years to class, competitions and more have been something we have found
hard to challenge. So we have now introduced a 5 strike late system. (More on this will

be released soon.)

CONGRATULATIONS

You Have Been Selected To
Be Apart Of MDA's
Competition Team!

Wear Your Crown With
