Thailand 4.0 focuses on value-based economy as the country needs to deal effectively with disparities and
the imbalance between the environment and society. It aims to enhance the country’s standing to become
a high-income nation through developing it as knowledge-based economy with emphasis on research
and development, science and technology, creative thinking and innovation. Hence GISTDA has been working
around the clock to promote and effectively create an economy for high value industry such as space economy
through aerospace industry to mature. Moreover, GISTDA’s vision for aerospace in Thailand is to be leading
the world in impel minting advanced technology such as addictive manufacturing, robot assistive technologies,
big data driven control etc. GISTDA has been working simultaneously in engaging entrepreneurs in technology
implementation, human skill development and services driven manufacturing. GISTDA’s focus on Aerospace 4.0
is both on aerospace manufacturing as well as application development in aerospace sector.

GISTDA is continuously putting tireless effort towards availing a potential space hub for Asia-Pacific region

In-country manufacturing program

In-country manufacturing program is important mechanism to drive Thai aerospace industry both facility and
technology development. Moreover, Spacecraft component was made in Thailand for increasing potential
spacecraft manufacturing of Thai entrepreneur to develop these spacecraft business which was contained
in “” New S-curve” or clustering future industry”

Thai entrepreneurs participate the in-country manufacturing program that is very important
because the first time, Thai entrepreneur can manufacture spacecraft component in “Teir-1 level”
and inpection approvement by Surrey Satellite technology limited (SSTL) that is leader of Satellite
manufacturing in the world. In the addition, Thai entrepreneur was promoted the quality system to apply
