Headteacher Bulletin #17 (15/12/22)
Dear Parent/Carer
It has been a week of parties at school – all our
children had a lovely time! It was so good to see
them all dressed up and having fun. We are
grateful to our Parent Council who have gifted
a selection box for each child to be given at
their party.
We have been singing at Sainsbury, spreading
some festive cheer and collecting for school
funds. Our last slot to do this is on Tuesday.
We have been practicing for our Christmas
concert, which we look forward to welcoming
you to next Monday at either 2pm or 5.30pm.
Thank you to everyone who has completed the
forms indicating which performance you are
coming to. This really helps us to have the hall
set up with the correct number of chairs.
There will be no tickets for this event, we
have our own sheet which we will mark off as
people come.
Next week is busy, and we really want to have
a ‘full house’ all week. We have planned the
following:
Monday 19th Dec – Christmas Concert (2pm
and 5.30pm)
Tuesday 20th Dec – Whole school Christmas
day, including a ‘Christmas dash’ at Kilwinning
Sports Club between break and lunch
Wednesday 21st Dec- P2-7 Pantomine @ The
Palace Theatre Kilmarnock (anticipated return
is 4.30pm but we will keep you up to date by
xpressions)
Thursday 22nd Dec- 1.45pm Christmas fayre
Bottle stall, chocolate
tombola, bric-a-brack
Friday 23rd December – 9.30am Church
Service @ Kilwinning Abbey Church – all
welcome. We are walking to church from
school leaving at 9.15am if you wish to walk
with us
