Dear Parent/Carer
As we are all adapting to a new normal in our lives, we are trying to find the best ways to support you and your
child as they begin their journey in education.
At the moment we are using the Seesaw platform to share some of the moments in the Early Years Class with you,
however, going forward we would like to reinstate ‘Stay and Play.’ The idea behind ‘Stay and Play’ is that a
parent/carer can come into the Early Years Class and play with their child and see what they get up to on a daily
basis.
We are planning to run ‘Stay and Play’ on the dates below and we can accommodate 3 parents per session:
Monday 8th November
Wednesday 10th November
Friday 12th November
Monday 15th November
Wednesday 17th November
The plan will be for a parent/carer to come back to the Early Years Class around 10am and they will be able to play
outside and in the canopy with their child, have a look at their folder and chat to the staff, until 11am.
Obviously as we are still very much in the COVID-19 pandemic there will be some mitigations and a risk assessment
in place.
We ask that all adults:
- Maintain a 2m distance from all other adults.
- Remain in the garden and canopy areas (not in the main playroom).
(Parent/carers can wear a mask if they wish.)
If you wish to come in for a ‘Stay and Play’ session, please follow the link that will be sent out on Seesaw today. If
you have any questions please call Kerry in our office, on 552626.
We look forward to seeing you then,
Lynne Gibson
