Dear Parent/Carer

P6 Transition – Enhanced – Tuesday 7 June 9.15am to 2.45pm

Your son/daughter is invited to come to our P6 Enhanced Transition activity day at Kilwinning
Academy on Tuesday 7 June. We are really looking forward to welcoming them to the school to do the
following activities:

 Discovering the School buildings and subjects  
 Fun challenges 
 Getting to know each other
 Creating a mural with everyone’s name
 Meeting members of staff

On the day: You are asked to drop your child off at Kilwinning Academy between 8.45am and 9.15am
and then pick him/her up at 2.45pm (unless you advise your Primary School that they have
permission to leave on their own).

Snack and Lunch: Please provide your child with a snack for interval and a packed lunch. If your child
receives free school meals, we will organise that from the canteen. Your primary School will let us
know about this and if there any special dietary requirements.
