punishment for adultery.

B is for Hester's bosom in which she wear her punishment.

C

C is for Chillingworth the name Hester's husband disguises
himself as.

D

D is for Dimmesdale and the devil which is referred to as the
“black man in the woods.”

E

E is for Europe where Hester,Pearl,and Dimmesdale planned
on taking a ship to to start a new life

F

F is for family which Hester,Pearl and Dimmesdale planned
on being when they go to Europe.

G

G is for God which is what the people really believed in.

H

H is for hideous what Chillingworth became over time .

I

I is for independent because Hester was an independent
women.

J

J is for judging which is what people did to Hester.

K

K is for kindness which Hester showed people after they
treated her terribly

L

L is for love, for the love of a father Pearl wanted and the love
Hester and Dimmesdale

M

M is for mother , for Hester, raising Pearl all by herself with
the criticism of the town people,and still standing tall

N

N is for nobody because Hester had nobody to help her on
her long journey of motherhood with Pearl.

O is for open, Hester was open about all of her sins,unlike
Dimmesdale, she wore a scarlet letter as a reminder
everyday and Dimmesdale hide his A on chest.

P is for perfection which is what the town people looked upon
Dimmesdale with.

Q is for quite because Chillingworth was quite but always had
a plan and for Dimmesdale not talking about his sins.

R

R is for reality Because Dimmesdale wasn’t leave in reality
when he thought nobody would find out about Hester and his
secret.

S

S is for sunshine/sunlight, the sun was shining on Pearl in the
woods and avoiding Hester.

T

T is for three for Pearl,Hester,and Dimmesdale the family of
three that never really got to be.

U

U is for united because finally at the end Pearl,Hester,and
Dimmesdale united for the world to see and to reveal their
sin.

V

V is for violent because Pearl was violent when playing with
the other kids when see was throwing rocks at them.

W

W is for widow, what the townspeople thought Hester was
which is why her punishment wasn’t as harsh.

X

X is for kiss,like the symbol,xoxo.Kiss like the one Pearl
washed of her face from Dimmesdale in the woods,and just
like the one she expected from him in public.

Y

Y is for young Hester was young when she had Pearl and
Pearl was young throughout the whole story

Z

Z is for zero because there was zero people perfect in this
story there was just a lot of hypocrites.
