Military Kids

Our Military Kids
Did you know 4 out of 5 children of Reservists have increased anxiety
during a deployment? A parent serving in a war zone is stressful. The
same can be said for children coping with a parent’s recovery from
severe injury sustained while serving. For both, grants from Our
Military Kids ease stress by paying for participation in sports, fine
arts, and tutoring programs.

http://www.ourmilitarykids.org/

The intent of Operation: Military Kids is to create a smooth transition
through the deployment process by offering fun and educational
experiences to military children, focusing on guard and reserve, to help
them better understand and cope with military life, family member
deployment and reintegration, as well as the challenges of maintaining
family integrity.

http://www.operationmilitarykids.org

The work of the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) is focused on ensuring quality
educational opportunities for all military children affected by mobility, family separation, and
transition. A 501(c)(3) non-profit, world-wide organization, the MCEC performs research, develops
resources, conducts professional institutes and conferences, and develops and publishes resources
for all constituencies.
