While preparing both lesson plans, we must identify the DTL of students, as well as activities that are appropriate for all levels of performance. Not only that, we also prepared the teaching aids for each lesson plan and activitiesa as we know teachers use teaching aids to enhance classroom instruction, extract learners' attention and create a motivation to learn. On this day, Madam Nirmala taught us the question teachniques teachers use in classroom. Questioning techniques are essential because they may promote learning, enhance students' thinking capability, lead to clear concepts, excite the imagination, and provide motivation to act. It is also one of the ways professors assist pupils in more efficiently developing their knowledge. Questions are important sine it is a way of engaging with students to keep their attention and to reinforce their participation. For instance, during our class, madam divided us into two groups. One group will asking a question to the opponent group within the time given and if they fail to answer they will consider defeated. They will switch roles after each round. The await is finally over. The day of my mock teaching. Every time I think of mock teaching, I become worried and anxious. But thankfully, it ended well and I give myself a big applause for pulling it off despite all the nervousness I have been through. Since I am not a person who is good in talking in a large crowd of audience, however this will be one of my best experience to overcome my anxiety and become a better teacher. I also have given a lot of efforts in preparing teaching aids in order to make my lesson more engaging and entertaining. Other than that, Ms Siti Hajar gives me with feedback on my teaching. However, such criticisms did not depress me and instead motivated me to improve myself so that I would not make the same mistakes in the future. I was also grateful to everyone of my classmates for actively participating in my mock teaching. In a nutshell, I believe that this experience may aid in the development of self-development skills such as integrity, communication, work ethic, leadership, problem-solving, confidence, and interpersonal skills. Developing these abilities will enable me to develop my potential, establish meaningful objectives, and live a more fulfilling life. Throughout these weeks, I have observed and learned a variety of teaching methods and teaching tools from my classmates. The creativeness of certain students' tools for learning, which bound to come in useful during our practical. From this subject, I discovered there are many types of teaching materials and does not only have to be in worksheet and book. Teacher can built their own materials to make their lesson more interesting and engaging. Since the use of teaching tools help in catching students attention, I found it very interesting. Other than just having fun while doing the activities, pupils also will learn something new from the lesson. In this way, it will help their cognitive skill and improving their learning and knowledge. It also gives me some ideas on how I will conduct my lesson soon. At first, it may be hard for me because I need to think carefully what topic should I choose, what skill is suitable for what activity and so on, however all these are actually helping me in preparing my parctical soon. Without a doubt, I actually really enjoyed this subject. I hope everything I have learnt through out this subject will be beneficial for me as well assist me in becoming a successful teacher.
