Municipal Seal: Its Symbols and Significance
Sun signifies the dawn of a new day, a new beginning and a hope for a better future.
Carranglan, through its leaders, hope to ascent the economic welfare of its people and develop
the municipality into a progressive agricultural community.
Mountains represents fortitude of Carranglan. Through times, the municipality suffered nature’s
wrath but has emerged and climbed out of its devastation into a well -developed municipality.
Also, the municipality is situated in the middle of the Caraballo and Sierra Madre Mountains and
has become well known by hikers and mountaineers for its beautiful mountains.
Palay Grains and Stalk represents wealth of our home. Carranglan, named as the Rice Granary of
Nueva Ecija, produces large volume of palay as the municipality is predominantly an agricultural
area with a 4,447 hectares of farmland. To capitalize on these vast farmlands, other crops such as
corn, among others, were likewise introduced to boost the economic prosperity of the local
farmers.
Trees a symbol of growth and strength that transcends in the citizens of Carranglan. Ipil, Narra,
Tanguile are some of the varieties of trees that can be found in the locality. Unique and
endangered species of Orchids attached to trees are also a source of income to many of
Carranglan’s inhabitants. Mahogany and Gmelina trees are also planted on some privately own
lots for commercial purposes.

ABOUT THESLGOLGGOB

The redefined logo embodies the
symbolism of what DILG Nueva Ecija is, its
personnel and the institution. The DILG logo in the
middle signifies what it is taken by the heart,
where the vision and mission must be
demonstrated by the personnel to the clients
that we serve.

The elements of the logo represent the
province as it is nationally known as the “Rice
Granary of the Philippines”, producing the largest
rice yield in the country. The logo also intends to
include the elements of Nueva Ecija with four (4)
congressional districts, which symbolizes the four
(4) stalks or “uhay” with golden grains composing
of the 32 component local government units
(LGUs) in the province.

The green leaves characterize the values of
DILG being Matino, Mahusay, and Maaasahan.
