Prof. Niren Mehta
The Sports Council has always been one of the major pillar for the college, be it
hosting sports events or handling college activities, it has always been at the
forefront.
Enthrusted with some fundamental responsibilities of the college, The Sports
Council has come a long way from there on setting benchmarks for all other clubs.
From just being a regular club to being one of the renowned committees the
Sports Council has come a long way. Throughout the journey we've handled
admissions, organised orientations for junior as well as degree college.
The Sports Council organized The Super Series, a thorough selection process for
the following sports: Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess & Carrom. We also organise
selections for Cricket and Football Players. The selected players represent the
College in their respective sports.
To take the bar higher, for the first time in HR College history, The Sports Council
organized the HR Super League, an inter collegiate season ball T20 tournament as
well as the Sports Fiesta which was conducted virtually, Annual Sports Meet that
consisted of Handball Hustle-an all-girls event for the first time, H.R.P.L.-intra-
collegiate tennis ball cricket tournament and Score-A-Goal-traditional football
tournament for the college sports fanatics.
