PREFACE

I, Muattar Murtaza , want to tell you that this book “The PHYSICS TREASURE”
contains the general concepts and summarized information of Physics syllabus as per
advised by UHS for entry test. I am writing this book starting from the name of ALLAH
Almighty for the students. The main purpose of writing this book is to share my
knowledge and important points with all the future doctors who want to learn and get
very good marks in Medical Entry Test (MDCAT). These important concepts I have
taken from my beloved teachers Sir. Kashif (STEP FSD), Sir. Amir (FAAST ACADEMY,
FSD), Sir. Tahir Siddiqi (Punjab College for Women, FSD), Mrs. Rubina Akhtar (DPS &
C, FSD). Special thanks to all these teachers who helped me to stand there and write
this book by teaching me these concepts.

Course Contents:

● Physical quantities, numerical magnitude and a proper unit.
● International System of Units, SI base units of physical quantities, and their

derived units.
● Prefixes and symbols to indicate decimal, submultiples or multiples of both

base and derived units:
● Errors and uncertainties
● Systematic error and random error.
● Fractional uncertainty and percentage uncertainty.
● Assessment of total uncertainty in the final results (Understanding of total

assessment about addition and subtraction, multiplication and division &
power factor)
