3 jumpTAU Startup Accelerator Program jumpTAU is an intensive, industry-driven startup accelerator program, aiming to take social and business ventures from idea stage to a market-validated business. The program, targeted at TAU students and Arab participants from all over Israel, consists of weekly workshops, in which entrepreneurs develop their solutions with the support of our mentors – high-level industry experts and business executives. Each week a new step in venture development is presented by leading entrepreneurs and educators, in an indepth, hands-on workshop.Throughout the sessions, the teams work and develop their concepts, together with mentors and our supporting staff. The program took upon itself an additional challenge: becoming a platform for developing and strengthening relations between Jewish and Arab. To this end, mixed teams are formed, working together on shared projects, toward a common goal: the success of their venture. Working together in an intensive and demanding environment that requires mutual dependence and trust, participants develop meaningful relationships and a real understanding of the other. Founded by Yair Sakov, a veteran entrepreneur and venture capitalist, and managed by Eti Finkelstein and Moataz Abo Moch, entrepreneurs themselves, this program achieved remarkable results from both the business and human relationship perspectives. Thus far, our graduating startups have raised over 150 million dollars to their ventures. Moataz Abo Moch Programs and Arab Community Maneger

6 AIsolate Field: IVF medical devices Need: In patients with near zero sperm counts IVF clinics search manually under a microscope for individual sperm cells, whether in semen samples or testicular biopsies. These searches are labor-intensive and often ineffective, leading to unnecessary, costly, and invasive surgical procedures, with some patients needlessly losing their dream of having a biological child of their own. Value proposition: AIsolate’s solution harnesses the power of AI and microfluidics to autonomously search through a sample, enabling embryologists to find more sperm cells with much less effort. The entire sample flows through the device, where it is imaged and analyzed in real time. Any sperm cells found are automatically retrieved and made easily accessible for the embryologist to use for fertilization. Our device will ultimately yield more sperm cells, reduce unnecessary surgeries, and improve clinics’ success rates. AIsolate – Sperm cell search & rescue THE TEAM

8 BetterSync Field: Health Tech Need: One of the greatest challenges facing children with ASD is acquiring social skills. These youngsters find it very difficult to read emotions and interact effectively with others – functions that come naturally to neurotypical individuals. In the US alone, 1 in 36 children is diagnosed with autism, representing a $32 billion market. Value proposition: BetterSync proposes a novel way to enhance the ability of children with ASD to understand emotions and connect with others. This innovation seeks the remedy in the earliest origins of emotional interaction – mimicry. Subconsciously mimicking others’ facial expressions is a natural behavior in neurotypical development and is essential for emotional understanding and connecting with others. However, children with autism often struggle with this automatic mimicry, hindering their ability to read emotions and interact effectively. BetterSync’s AI-based SaaS platform offers a rewarding and engaging way to practice this skill, gradually building crucial neurological pathways for emotion recognition in the brain. Ultimately, BetterSync is devoted to enhancing the social experiences of children with autism by targeting and removing the most crucial obstacles that impede their ability to read others’ emotions. 14 EcoLux Field: Urban energy consumption Need: Streetlights often work all night, even when the streets are deserted, gobbling up electricity and wasting energy and resources for no good reason. This costly problem plagues cities everywhere. Value proposition: EcoLux aims to develop a sophisticated microcontroller network that can be effortlessly installed on existing infrastructures and streetlights, with no need for expensive retrofitting. The novel system will dynamically adjust light intensity based on real-time traffic flow, dimming or turning the lights off when the street is empty and turning them up when vehicles pass by. Ultimately, EcoLux, optimizes the utilization of streetlights, and drastically reduces power consumption and cost – without compromising the safety of road users. 16 QuantiWave Technologies Field: Blood tests Need: A Complete Blood Count (CBC) is a common blood test designed mainly to determine the numbers of red and white blood cells in a blood sample. The test is typically performed in the lab by automated machines called hematology analyzers. However, in roughly 5% of cases, the machine indicates the need for an additional count, to be conducted manually under a microscope. These manual counts are both time-consuming and susceptible to human error. Value proposition: QuantiWave Technologies is developing a novel device enabling full automation of all CBC tests, based on Dynamic Digital Holography. Unlike the currently used machines, which check several parameters in the blood, Holography produces quantitative 3D images of blood cells during flow, providing more accurate results for 100% of the samples. Many studies suggest that in the future, this novel technology can be significantly extended, to support the diagnosis of a range of blood diseases. QuantiWave – Harnessing Holography to improve blood tests THE TEAM

18 SaliCan Field: Oncology, Lung Cancer Screening Need: Causing about 1.8 million deaths every year, lung cancer is the deadliest cancer worldwide. The main reason for this extremely high mortality rate (almost 3 times higher than breast cancer – in 2nd place with 670,000 deaths per year), is the lack of a simple, accessible means for early diagnosis. People with lung cancer experience no symptoms until the disease has advanced to stage 3 or 4, when chances of survival are quite slim (36% and 10% respectively after 5 years). At present, screening, which involves a low-dose CT scan, is offered mainly to a limited population of heavy smokers over 50, and compliance is very low – less than 10% in most countries. Value proposition: SaliCan proposes a complete paradigm shift in screening for lung cancer: a user-friendly saliva test performed by individuals at home. Diagnosis will be based on saliva biomarkers discovered through R&D with RNA sequencing and bioinformatics technologies, and identified in samples by a specially developed lab-on-a-chip (LOC). The novel test is expected to revolutionize screening for lung cancer – much like the fecal occult blood test did for colorectal cancer – to significantly increase early diagnosis and reduce mortality. SaliCan – Optimizing early diagnosis of lung cancer THE TEAM
