There are dan there is artinya adalah “ada”. PEMBAHASAN: There is/ there are
digunakan untuk menunjukkan keberadaan benda dan orang. Kita menggunakan "there is"
dengan kata benda tunggal (singular nouns) dan kita menggunakan "there are" dengan kata
benda jamak (plural nouns)

POSITIVE FORM

There is ” is used for objects in the countable or singular form in the positive.
There are ” is used for objects in the countable or plural form in the positive.

For example :

There is a cat on the chair There is a bed

There is a duck in the bath

▪There are

There are four books in the bag There are toys under the bed

There are three apples on the plate

NEGATIVE FORM

▪There isn’t and There aren’t

There isn't” is used for objects in the countable or singular form in the negative
There aren't” is used for objects in the countable or plural form in the negative

For example : There aren’t
There isn’t

There isn’t a book in the bag There aren’t two pencils on the table

QUESTION FORM

▪ Is there...? and Are there ...? ( question form )

Is there...?” is used for objects in the countable or singular form in the question
Are there...?” is used for objects in the countable or plural form in the question

For example :

Is there a ball? Are there three cats?

√ Yes, there is √ Yes, there are

No, there isn’t No, there aren’t

Are there two birds on the tree ? Is there a bag?
Yes, there are Yes there is

√ No., there aren’t √ No., there isn’t

How many...?

How many” berarti berapa banyak untuk suatu benda, dan selalu digunakan
dengan kata benda yang dapat dihitung (countable nouns).
For Example:
How many balls are there? There are six balls.

How many books are there ? There are five books.

Habitat is the place or environment where a plant or animal naturally or normally lives
and grows ( adalah tempat suatu tumbuhan atau makhluk hidup tinggal dan
berkembang biak).
