1. A temporary main holding area and off-beacon holding area as secondary (TANOB) has been
established to be used by the participating flying display aircraft; either in preparation for run-in
(formation or aerobatics) or prior to landing after completion of flying display or if the runway is
blocked.

2. Main Holding Area (Primary).

In consideration of the Show Organizer and Aerospace Management Committee of the LANGKAWI
INTERNATIONAL MARITIME AND AEROSPACE EXHIBITION 2019 (LIMA’19) permitting me to perform
display, demonstration or presentation flight for and on behalf of the registered owner of the aircraft
or his agent. I HEREBY AGREE to abide by the rules and decisions established by the Committee and
absolve their servants of any responsibility or liabilities for any loss, damage or injury to myself or the
Company I represent in the event that such loss, damage or injury is caused by the flying machine for
which I am responsible for, and in command of.



I FURTHER AGREE to indemnify the Show Organizer, the Committee, the Government of Malaysia and
its servants against any claims, demands and/or actions of every nature and kind whatsoever which I,
my heir, executors, administrators or assigns may or can at any time hereafter have against the Show
Organizer, the Committee, the Government of Malaysia and its servants as a result of loss, damage or
injury sustained while performing display and demonstrations.

FLIGHT DEMONSTRATION AREA








































1. The following areas are established for use by aircraft manufacturers wishing to conduct
demonstration flights:

a. Area Alpha: Contained within the following radials and
distances from VPL DVOR/DME:
RDL 240 to RDL 280.
30 SME to 40 DME.
Upper Limit: FL250.
Lower Limit: 11,000FT.

b. Area Bravo: Contained within the following radials and
distances from VPL DVOR/DME:
RDL 080 to RDL 120.
15 DME to 40 DME.
Upper Limit: FL250.
Lower Limit: 5,000FT.

c. Area Charlie (for helicopter and light aircraft only):
Contained within the following radials and distances from
VPL DVOR/DME:
RDL 240 to RDL 280.
10 DME to 20 DME.
Upper Limit: 10,000FT.
Lower Limit: 1,500FT.

2. All demonstration flights shall be subjected to prior approval from the Air Show Organizers who
will coordinate with ATC giving at least 30 minutes’ prior notification. Pilots shall obtain ATC clearance
in the normal manner prior to departure for the demonstration area. Pilots are required to position
their aircraft at designated start-up areas before requesting start-up clearance.
